Top 10 Tuesday: Books that Make Me HungryBooks that Make Me Hungry

Hey everyone welcome back to my blog! If this is the first time you’ve been to my blog welcome! Today I’m coming at you with a fun trend started by The Broke and the Bookish but has now been taken over by That Artsy Reader Girl. It’s called Top 10 Tuesday!

This week’s topic is:

Books that Make Me Hungry

This one is definitely a tough one as I tend to read more fantasy books regarding the supernatural but I’ll give it a go.

Harry Potter Series

Honestly who hasn’t dreamed about biting into Hagrid’s Happy Birthdae cake! Not to mention the pudding at the banquet halls and the trolly food. It’s no wonder there is a Harry Potter cookbook out now.

Among the Hidden

This is a story about a world impoverished and very poor only allowed 2 children per household. Anyone who broke this rule would be killed or thrown in jail along with their child. Food is scarce and reading about the kids eating rotting food to survive definitely starts to make you hungry. It especially makes you hungry when reading that people workkmg for the government were alllwed to eat as much junk food as they wanted while everyone else starved.

Pandora Hearts

This is a manga that focuses on the adventures of Oz Bezarius, Gilbert Nightray, and Alice as they look for the truth about Oz and the tragedy of 10 years ago. That had eventually opened an abyss that evil people were thrown into as punishment.

While it focuses on the adventures of these 3 food is highlighted quite a bit as Alice absolutely loves eating meat. They showcase other pastries and delicacies but meat is definitely the main highlight.

Black Butler

This is an anime as well as a manga series. It’s about a young boy trying to get revenge for the death of his parents as well as the abuse he suffered in captivity. He strikes a deal with a demon named Sebastian and now they rule the underworld as the queen’s guard dog as Ciel searches for the truth. This show while very fantasy filled always showcases different English delicacies of the 1800s. Many of them are interesting and definitely make you want to take a bite!

Inuyasha

Ah, yes childhood nostalgia. Again this is an anime as well as a manga series. This is about the adventures of Kagome Higurashi jumping between the modern world amd the feudal era. Tasked with protecting the Shikon jewel she meets a half demon named Inuyasha who wants the jewel so he can become a full demon. While trying to get the jewel back from a crow demon Kagome is left with no choice but to shoot the crow and hits the jewel shattering it. Forced to work together at first they meet Miroku, Sango, Shipp,Kirara, and many other characters. Kagome when jumping from her world into the Feudal era brings things like chips, soda, Ramen and many other tasty dishes for her friends in the feudal era to try making the audience run to the kitchen for a salty snack!

Well that’s my top 10 list for today hope everyone enjoyed it. If you did make your own list and don’t forget to tag the creators of this fun concept!

Toei’s Reaction to Dragon Ball Super: Broly

Image result for dragon ball super broly

Hey everyone how are you all doing this fine Saturday night. I hope that everyone has had an amazing week so far, and I’m coming at you with some fun new Dragon Ball Super news! To check it out for yourselves click on the link below.

https://comicbook.com/anime/2018/10/29/dragon-ball-super-broly-first-reactions-reviews-toei/

Dragon Ball Super: Broly is one of the most highly-anticipated releases of the year – and certainly the biggest feature-film release in the history of Dragon Ball. With Dragon Ball Super: Broly continuing the popular storyline of the Dragon Ball Super anime while also retconning the entire foundation of the franchise, there’s is understandably a lot riding on series creator Akira Toriyama, and Broly director Tatsuya Nagamine to put out the best Dragon Ball movie fans have ever seen.

Well, now the first Dragon Ball Super: Broly reaction is out, and the president of Toei animation is sharing it online, for every Dragon Ball fan to see:

As you can see above, this first reaction to Dragon Ball Super: Broly comes from Toei Animation director, Takashi Otsuka, who seems to be wholly impressed with the work that Tatsuya Nagamine has done with the film. Otsuka seems particularly impressed with the aesthetic accomplishments of the film, with its animation and visual design all reportedly a cut above what fans have seen from the franchise in recent years. While this is obviously the opinion of a Toei executive (and should therefore be taken with a grain of $alt), it’s nonetheless a promising first impression for Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

Fans have long been aware of the hard work that the Dragon ball Super: Broly team has been putting into the film. Various members of the cast and crew have teased how Broly will introduce a brand new Dragon Ball visual design, as well as how there are exponentially more frames of both 2D and 3D animation being pumped into the film’s epic fights, compared to what fans get in a standard anime episode. Needless to say, Toei truly wants this to be a milestone release for the franchise, and is sparing no expense to make it happen.

Well thats it for this post. I don’t know about you guys but after reading this I’m totally stoked for this new movie and have some seriously high expectations. If you enjoyed this post and want notifications via email everytime I make a post hit that follow button and have an awesome Saturday night!

Dragon Ball Super: Broly Star Masako Nozawa Talks Goku, Broly, and Peace?

Hey everyone how are you all doing this fine Saturday night? I hope everyone has been having an awesome week. I got some awesome news about Dragon Ball Super, and if you want to check it out click the link below.

https://comicbook.com/anime/2018/11/01/dragon-ball-super-broly-goku-masako-nozawa-interview-nycc-2018/

ComicBook.com: Dragon Ball Super‘s finale was a huge hit with fans, so how does it feel returning for the movie with so much support?

Masako Nozawa: It’s just amazing. Goku has a very special place in everyone’s hearts. He’s been with us for such a long time; he’s always going to be there.

Do you feel Goku’s changed since the Tournament of Power and fighting so many strong opponents?

Goku never changes. He’s always been the same, he’s always going to be Goku. He wants one thing for the whole world. He just wants peace, he wants everyone to get along with each other. So when [he] encounters a villain or a bad guy, all he’s trying to do is change the way they think a little bit and shift them towards good. So if in the middle of a fight if a bad guy says, “You know what? I changed my mind, I’m going to be a good guy now,” he’s going to stop fighting. He’s not in it to beat him up to a pulp or prove that he’s better or stronger. He just wants peace.

Dragon Ball Super Broly SSB Goku vs Broly

Fans are very excited for Goku’s big fight with Broly, so did that add any pressure or excitement when performing those scenes?

I really don’t feel that much pressure at all. Because the moment I walk into the studio I become Goku. I feel what Goku feels, take on the same attitude he has, so I just want peace at that point too. He doesn’t train to become stronger, to beat people up for the sake of beating people up, he trains to become stronger so he has the power to kind of shift the way people think towards good.

How does Goku feel about Broly?

Goku never hates anyone. He doesn’t even have the idea of vengeance. All he is trying to do is say, “Hey, if you behave that way you’re going to cause trouble for people. You’re disturbing people’s lives, don’t do that.” So I think Goku really believes Broly is a friend.

He’s trying his best to make peace with Broly?

All Goku is doing is going, “Hey, you’ve got it a bit wrong, buddy. You’re thinking about this all wrong. If you just turn direct that energy over here, there’s so much more potential, more possibility. So hey, come to this side.” That’s all Goku is trying to do.

SSJ-Goku-Dragon-Ball-Super-Broly

Goku’s had many transformations, many forms, over the years. Do you possibly have a favorite one?

[laughs] There’s no favorite. I am all of them, and they’re all me. Masako Nozawa equals Son Goku. That’s all there is. Really, if more people in the world thought the way Goku thought then we could achieve world peace. He never goes out to fight someone with the intent of just beating them for the sake of beating them. He would never think of killing anyone. All he wants to do is change the way people think.

CAN GOKU REACH ULTRA INSTINCT AGAIN?

Goku using Ultra Instinct was an intense moment, did you go anywhere special for that performance?

There really is no secret to how I build the character. What I see on the screen, I see Goku, I feel whatever he’s feeling. And when I saw Goku that way I knew, “OK, this is what Goku must be feeling,” so I just try to match whatever I see and become Goku.

Do you think he can reach that level again?

I don’t know if he’ll ever get to that instinct level, but he’s always training. He’s constantly training. So I think there’s going to be a lot more Goku to be seen, because he’s always training.

Dragon Ball Super Broly Goku Minus Departure Fated Child Origin

Is there anything you’re excited for fans to see now that Dragon Ball Super: Broly is releasing soon in theaters?

I mean, there are lots of things, but I don’t want to spoil it. I want from the moment the room goes dark and the screen lights up, that’s when the experience begins. So in that moment everyone’s going to draw something different. There are lots of things I personally like, but I’m not going to ruin the experience for anyone right now.

Goten and Trunks in Dragon Ball Super: Broly Promo!

Image result for dragon ball super broly

Hey gang how are you all doing this fine Saturday? As you know I’m a major fan of Dragon Ball Super so any news I can get my hands on about the upcoming Dragon Ball Super movie I post as soon as possible. And I just got some awesome news, if you want to check it out for yourself click on the link below.

https://comicbook.com/anime/2018/11/02/dragon-ball-super-broly-promo-goten-trunks/

Promoting a special event for Japanese restaurant RingerHut, fans have noticed how prominently Goten and Trunks are being featured alongside heavy hitters like Goku, Vegeta, and Broly.

The special promotion with RingerHut runs from November to January in Japan, and fans can get special Dragon Ball Super: Broly goods if they visit the restaurant chain a certain amount of times and buy certain goods. But the included promotional materials feature art with Goku, Broly, Whis, Beerus, Freeza, Piccolo, and surprisingly a new art for Goten and Trunks.

With as prominently as Goten and Trunks are featured in promo materials for the film, which doesn’t include major characters fans would suspect like Gohan, fans are wondering if this is another major clue of the return of the Gogeta fusion in the series.

Whether or not Goten and Trunks have any involvement with the fusion in the film, the fact that they are there has fans thinking that Goten and Trunks will either re-teach Goku and Vegeta the fusion dance, or at least explain some of their expertise using the technique.

Fans have been hoping Gogeta makes his official debut in the series canon along with Broly, and this could very well be another clue. Otherwise, why feature Goten and Trunks so prominently? They may have a connection with the character in the non-canon Broly films, but it is odd that they would be part of the initial promotional wave unless they had a key role.

Top 11 Anime of All Time! (my opinion)

Hey everyone how are you all doing today? So as I’m sure you guys know the partnership between Crunchyroll and Funimation Now has ended. And in light of this event I’ve thought alot about anime so just for fun here is a list of my top anime in no particular order!

Inuyasha

This is one of the first anime I watched as the series ended in 2004 so I was on about 8 when it ended. I loved Inuyasha and I think the show has something for everyone for me I loved the romance, while my twin brother loved all the fighting and swords.

MushiShi

MushiShi is a very unique anime that I don’t think gets enough appreciation. The anime and manga have both been completed I just wish we could get a bit more info on Ginko’s past. But as the anime states he’s it’s about the Mushi not Ginko.

Another

Ah Another where to begin with this anime. Though it is short at only 12-13 episodes this anime is not lack luster. If you’re like me and love a good mystery filled with death, murder, and blood this is definitely the perfect anime for you. The best way to describe this anime is Final Destination meets Saw in Anime.

Fairy Tail

Fairy Tail was actually an anime my older sister convinced me too watch. I had seen the first few episodes and thought the anime was purely comedic and was missing a decent plot, boy was I wrong! This anime has many different themes from romance, action adventure, fantasy, to drama. Fairy Tail though a main stream anime is filled with everything including some major feels. Don’t always believe the stigma around mainstream anime as the reason it could be so mainstream and popular is because it’s awesome!

Dragon Ball Super

Now I chose Dragon Ball Super because this version of Dragon Ball gives me everything I’m looking for: funny yet deep emotional characters, good storylines, and major battles. I love Dragon Ball Z don’t get me wrong but Dragon Ball Super has something that I think was missing in Dragon Ball Z.

Tokyo Ghoul

Tokyo Ghoul is a bloody horror fest with a deep and somber storyline. It brings many points to the series that forces people to wonder who the true villain is. The battles are great and the characters are all 3 dimensional, but this anime is not for the faint of heart so if you hate the feels and looking into philosophical morality look elsewhere for anime.

Blassreiter

Yet another anime that has not been given it’s proper due. It’s a 26 episode anime filled with battle, mecca, and of course feels. Don’t get too attached to characters in this anime as who knows who is going to survive.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

This is definitely a classic I loved this anime from start to finish. It’s very different from the first anime series and I have to say it’s better than it’s counterpart. Both are good anime but brotherhood has a realistic depth to it that you don’t get in the original plus it follows the manga alot more closely.

Amnesia

Amnesia is the perfect anime for anyone who loves to swoon over attractive men. While it is a reverse harem, there is also a mysterious storyline that hooks you in until the last episode!

Seraph of the End

I love Seraph this is an anime that is still ongoing and I absolutely love it. I’ve yet to read the manga but I can only imagine how far this anime and manga will go. The storyline and characters are great and I mean I totally love Vampires so I’m probably biased.

Pandora Hearts

An interesting take on an Alice and Wonderland. Filed with an intricate storyline that can get a little confusing this anime will keep you begging for more. Unfortunately the anime was never finished so you’ll have to read the manga to figure out how it ends!

So that’s my list for some of my top anime. If you’re an anime nerd like me post your own list of top anime’s or comment below on some of your favorite anime’s.

I hope you all enjoyed the post if you did and want post notifications hit that follow button and have a great night!

Dragon Ball Super: Broly New Synopsis and Freeza Connection!

Hey everyone how are you all doing this fine Saturday night? I hope everyone has been having an amazing weekend so far it’s starting to get chilly in Massachusetts and with my knee being injured I’m glad I’m in the warmth of my house. But back to buisness and why you’re all here, according to this article https://comicbook.com/anime/amp/2018/10/17/dragon-ball-super-broly-broly-freeza-force-paragus/

“A new synopsis for Dragon Ball Super: Broly has found its way online, and it definitely reveals more juicy details of the film’s storyline. One major detail that fans will definitely zero in on will be the new details regarding how Broly’s story is connected to classic Dragon Ball villain, Freeza!

Here’s what we learned from the synopsis:

“This scenario laid out by the Dragon Ball Super: Broly synopsis tracks with speculation that’s been floating around fan chat threads, ever since the first promo images of Broly wearing Freeza Force armor started leaking out. Other dots that can connected here include the explanation for why Broly specifically targets Vegeta during the arctic battle sequence (Paragus’ fued with King Vegeta); and the fact that new characters Lemo and Cheelai will be the Freeza Force recruits who discover Broly and Paragus, and bring them back to Freeza. However, the big question in all this, is how does ‘playing with fire’ approach that Freeza takes match up with trailer footage of Broly attempting to put a serious beatdown on the Evil Emperor? In the small bit of footage we’ve seen, Freeza seems to be discovering Broly’s power for the first time, suggesting their fight occurs early on, when Freeza may be testing this mysterious Saiyan’s power. However, if the film reveals the truth of Planet Vegeta’s destruction and King Vegeta’s reason for sending him away (the threat of Freeza), then Freeza may find his new secret weapon pointed right back at him.

So that’s it for this bit of news what did you think of this extra synopsis?

If you enjoyed this post and want to be notified of when I post hit that follow button and have an awesome night!

Dragon Ball Super: Broly Mystery Saiyan Revealed!

Hey everyone how are you all doing this fine Saturday night? I know I haven’t been posting alot and I’m truly sorry for that. I’ve been ridiculously busy with school and due to a knee injury things have been kind of tough. But enough about me here’s the news I’m sure you all came to find out about.

According to this article: https://comicbook.com/anime/amp/2018/10/18/dragon-ball-super-broly-characters-saiyans-beets/

“In the synopsis, it’s made clear that Paragus was King Vegeta’s right-hand military adviser, but the two had a serious falling out when King Vegeta sent Broly away from Planet Vegeta, after discovering that Paragus’ son had a higher power potential than his own son. Paragus vows revenge and takes off after Broly, trying to track him down across the universe. When Paragus finally catches up to his son on “Planet Vampa,” Broly will already be discovering his prowess for both battle and survival, and now we know that Paragus will have some assistance in his mission, from a Saiyan character that’s now been identified as “Beets”:

So we get another new saiyan character and it looks like his name is Beets. I’m not sure how he will tie into the story but it looks like he’s allied with Paragus which could mean major trouble for Goku and Vegeta. That’s all the news I have on this particular subject as of right now. But as soon as I get more info I’ll be sure to post about it! If you enjoyed this post and want email notifications when I produce another post hit that follow button and have a great rest of your weekend everyone!

Dragon Ball Super: Broly Artist Teases Film’s “Climactic” Fight

Hey everyone with the Dragon ball Super: Movie coming closer to it’s release date I’ve really been looking on the web to see if there is any news I can get and I found something! So according to this article https://www.google.com/amp/s/comicbook.com/anime/amp/2018/09/17/dragon-ball-super-broly-artist-climactic-fight-tease/

Dragon Ball Super: Broly will be boasting some of the biggest battles of in the franchise yet, and this means that not everything can be captured by traditional 2D animation. But not to worry, as the fights will be as explosive as ever.

In a recent interview with CG Producer Yuuji Yoko’o, CG Director Kai Makino, and CG Line Producer Takuya Fukunaga (with translations provided by Todd Blankenship on Twitter), they teased the strange setting and awesome climactic battle.

They explain that director Tatsuya Nagamine wanted to take full advantage of CG animation for the film. The film will go through many locations (which has been further teased by the reveals of brand new planets), and in fact one of them could only be done in CG.

The new CG battleground was apparently be a highlight of the film, and it’s an alternate universe that could only be made with CG as it doesn’t exist in reality. Nagamine wanted the CG artists to run wild with it and experiment, so they are hoping the CG battle will be one fans have never seen before.

There is a focus on keeping up the pace of the CG battle due to the traditionally animated scenes before and after, but it seems that the fights in the film will use multiple avenues of animation in order to make the fight with Broly special. The fights in the film are sure to be a highlight overall as well.

The first trailer was sure to boast all of the coming fights such as Broly vs. Goku, Broly vs., and even Broly vs. Freeza, so with all of these fights, the final battle of the film will have to be explosive enough to top everything that comes before. But with how much passion this team has for the project, everyone just might be happy in the end.

Well that’s all the news I have from this article I hope you all enjoyed it. If you like my posts and want notifications of when I post hit that follow button and have a great night!

Dragon Ball Super: Broly New Worlds to be Introduced!

Hey everyone I hope you’ve all had a great week so far. I start college on Thursday so I’m definetly excited and nervous all at the same time. So one way I relax and keep myself calm is looking up anime news, and blogging. So I just stumbled upon this article https://comicbook.com/anime/amp/2018/09/03/dragon-ball-super-broly-new-worlds-tease/

And according to it

the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Broly will be no different as the film will explore more worlds than just planet Earth.

In a recent interview with the art directors behind the film, Nobohito Sue and Kazuo Ogura, they elaborated on the new worlds the film will explore.

Not only will there be a brand new world, Banpa, full of “large valleys and creature-infested lakes,” there will also be a new look at Planet Vegeta. Sue and Ogura explain that the new version of Vegeta will be going off previous depictions of the planet in the series but with a new sense of scale.

There was a concentrated effort to give each planet their own motif in order to further emphasize how new everything is. That goes for the Earth as well, as the film seeks to explore new environments rarely seen in the series. It’s why the film’s first trailer features a major battle in the arctic, as it’s one of the many choices made to make Dragon Ball Super: Broly feel as unique as possible.
Fans will soon see more of these new planets when Dragon Ball Super: Broly releases in Japan this December. Funimation will be bringing the film to theaters in the United States in January as well, and Dragon Ball Super: Broly is described as such:

So that’s all I got for news on Super at this moment but fear not as the movie inches closer to it’s premier date I’m sure more news will follow. If you enjoyed this blog post and want post notifications via email just hit that follow button and have a great day!

Dragon Ball Super: Broly Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta Rumor

Hey guys I hope you’re all having a great night. I’ve been getting a bunch of news and theories so I thought I would share one with you now to see what your theories and opinions are. So according to this article I found from Comic Book

https://www.google.com/amp/s/comicbook.com/anime/amp/2018/08/28/dragon-ball-super-saiyan-blue-gogeta-new-form/

Recently, tech-savvy fans did a data mine on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 to unlock details about its next DLC pack. It was there fans learned the game would be getting reboot Broly, the main character of the Dragon Ball Super film, and a new form of Gogeta.

So, if you’ve done fan art of Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta, it may not be fantastical much longer.

As it turns out, the data mine revealed Gogeta is coming to the game, and the fusion will have variants including a Super Saiyan Blue version. So far, there is no official comment on the leak, but fans are already tying the SSB Gogeta DLC to the Dragon Ball Super movie since the new character will be packaged with Broly.

Given the growing rumors about Gogeta’s presence in Dragon Ball Super: Broly, this big leak has fans ready to freak out. Gogeta is a fan-favorite fusion in the franchise, but it has yet to be made canon. The character made its debut back in Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn as Goku and Vegeta had to unite to defeat Super Janemba. Gogeta went Super Saiyan following its fusion, making him twice as strong.

In fact, various guidebooks have called Gogeta the mightiest fighter in the Dragon Ball universe, so it would make sense for the guy to fight Broly on the big screen. After all, the latter is becoming canon in this new movie, and he’s expected to be more powerful than ever before. It might just take a SSB Gogeta power-up to knock the fabled Saiyan down.

So what do you guys think, do you ship the idea of another fusion between Vegeta and Goku and finally make Gogeta canon?

Getting all this news is totally hyping me up for the movie, if you want to stay updated with post notifications via email hit that follow button and have a great day!

Dragon Ball Super: New Broly AD

Hey everyone bookishnerdygirl here with some awesome new Dragon Ball Super: Broly news. If your interested keep reading. I got my info from this article at comic book,

https://www.google.com/amp/s/comicbook.com/anime/amp/2018/08/28/dragon-ball-super-broly-new-super-saiyan-broly-ad/

I know as a Dragon Ball fan I’m super stoked for this new Cannonical movie. I think it’ll be better then the original storyline and my point seems to be proven with this new Broly Ad.

With a new advertisement seen in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump (as spotted by YonkouProductions on Twitter), fans got another look at the new Broly in both his base form and Super Saiyan form.
The new ad spread features two different profiles of Broly along with a much better look at the debut of Vegeta’s Super Saiyan God form. One profile features Broly in his powered up base form, and one seems to be the start of his raging Super Saiyan power. Although the new version of Broly doesn’t seem to carry the same “Legendary” moniker for his power that the older version of, he still has an appropriately legendary look.

Not to mention from the trailers that have been released it seems Goku and Vegeta are having a hell of a time beating this beefier Barbaric Broly.

Originally this Manga was being released on a weekly basis starting on July 15th in Japan. But now the manga has changed to being released on a bi-weekly basis meaning a new chapter comes out every 2 weeks instead of every week.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will be updated every other week starting this week. So, the next update will be September 5,” Atsuo Ueda wrote.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly Trailer and look at Vegeta Super Saiyan God form

Hey everyone how are you all doing this fine Monday morning? I hope everyone had a great weekend, I’m super stoked because I just found some more Dragon Ball Super: Broly news! So sit back amd enjoy the info I’ve got for you.

“Toei Animation recently premiered the huge One Piece special, Episode of Skypiea, and the end of the special featured a brand new, but all-too brief teaser for Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

With a helpful introduction from One Piece’s Luffy, the new teaser features an extended look at Super Saiyan Blue Goku’s battle with Broly (with translations provided by Twitter user @Terez27).”

After a brief message from Luffy asking Goku to take over (which is a special joke considering One Piece is usually the series releasing a new film over the Winter), the teaser shows much of the same footage as the debut trailer for the film. But the difference here is a new close-up profile of Goku along with a better look at Goku’s fight with Broly.

Fans have been mixed on Dragon Ball’s use of CG during Resurrection of F in the battle between Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Golden Freeza, and it seems that CG will play a big factor in Goku’s fight with Broly as well. There was a hint of CG during the premiere trailer, but in this teaser fans can see Goku and Broly trading powerful punches in CG as well.

The CG seems to flow better here, as Goku and Golden Freeza’s fight admittedly was a bit stiff, but the greater time and practice over the years will certainly make the CG less jarring than before. Besides, fans will be too focused on why Goku seems to need to go into Super Saiyan Blue against Broly’s base power.”

But of course Goku isn’t the only hot commodity we also have gotten an even better look at Super Saiyan God Vegeta, possibly the best look at him yet!

Fairy Tail: News and More!

Hey everyone I hope everyone has had a great day, college planning has been crazy but I’m happy to announce I just got some awesome Fairy Tail news!

So kick back and enjoy the news I have for you, and as always if you want to check out the info for yourself just click the links below.

So according to an article from comic book

https://www.google.com/amp/comicbook.com/anime/amp/2018/07/31/fairy-tail-sequel-100-years-quest-lucy-reunion-aquarius/

a long awaited reunion is brewing. And the reunion will be our favorite and prickly Celestial Spirit Aquarius, and our favorite Celestial wizard Lucy Heartfelia!

While we have been promised a reunion between Aquarius and Lucy it seems we will also be getting introduced to some new characters.

According to this article https://www.google.com/amp/comicbook.com/anime/amp/2018/08/05/fairy-tail-100-years-quest-sequel-water-dragon/

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is only three chapters in, but the sequel has introduced a group which could become Natsu’s next big threat. After arriving at the first magical guild, the Dragon Slayer and his friends learn about the 100 Years Quest, and its main task is a big one.

Take out the evil God Dragons!

According to the guild leader Elefceria, his yet-completed quest requires its champion to seek out a series of powerful dragons.

“The 100 Year Quest asks to seal five dragons known as the Five God Dragons. You could say each one of them is equal to the power of Acnologia,” the older man explains before he is told of Natsu’s accomplishments. As the pink-haired mage is the one who beat Acnologia, he stands the best chance at completing the mission, and the team is sent off hastily to find the first God Dragon.

“I don’t know their exact locations, but I have a lead on one of them. The Water God Dragon, Merkphobia,” Elefceria tells the group.

I’m majorly happy that we have finally gotten a water Dragon!

And according to another article https://www.google.com/amp/comicbook.com/anime/amp/2018/08/09/fairy-tail-anime-manga-announcement-tease-hiro-mashima/

Also Hiro Mashima the creator of Fairy Tail has teased for us fans to keep our eyes peeled as he has a few goodies he can’t wait for us to see.
The artist teased followers about a new collection of “goodies” and his desire to tell everyone about them already.

“I oversaw the new Fairy Tail goodies, and I really want them! I hope to announce them soon,” Mashima wrote.

So far, there is no word on what these goodies could be, but fans have their hopes. On social media, fans left and right are pleading for the announcement to involve a console title. However, it seems far more likely the teaser is about actual anime merchandise. After all, the show is making an awaited comeback this fall, making it the perfect time to get new merchandise on the market. So, if you have been in the market for a Natsu Dragneel plush, you may want to hold off until Mashima goes live with this latest tease.

So that’s all the news I could find, I hope you all enjoyed the news! If you enjoyed the post and want notifications via email, hit that follow button and have a great night!

Dragon Ball Super Broly: Storyline Revealed and more Saiyans to come?

Hey everyone I hope you are all having an amazing day so far. I just recently got some more Dragon ball Super: Broly news and I’m coming at you with it now!

So according to these articles from comic book here is the official summary from the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie.

So it’s pretty much what we have already seen in the new trailer, but it’s reconfirming that Vegeta and Goku have never met this unknown Saiyan from their universe.

Which of course leads fans like myself to speculate that this could open up a new story arc, in which we find even more surviving Saiyans. Comicbook brings up a good point in this article “As imagery from the film also hints that in this canonized story, Broly could escape the destruction of Planet Vegeta by being one of the many Saiyan babies launched out into the universe, with the goal of having them land on planets that they would then conquer for the Saiyan empire. It’s the original premise of how Goku arrived on Earth, and became its defender instead of a destroyer – but admittedly, the series has never really plumbed the idea to its full depths – until now.

By re-introducing the concept of the “lost children” of the Saiyan race, and revealing Broly to possibly be one of them, Dragon Ball Super has an easy premise that could become the story arc of the next canon series. One Goku and Vegeta learn there are still Saiyans of great power scattered around the universe, seeking them out for battle and/or recruitment would only be logical. After all, since meeting the Saiyans of Universe 6 and acting as their mentors, then seeing what happened to an isolated warrior like Broly, Goku and Vegeta could conceivably feel the responsibility to gather what’s left of their race in Universe 7 together, and lead them into a new era.

That “Saiyan Quest” would then leave room for any number of new Saiyan characters to be introduced into canon – whether its fan-favorites from non-canon material (Shallot or Canba from the Legends and Heroes video games), or new characters that we meet (like the Universe 6 Saiyans in DBS), it would be a welcome focus to have the series focus on its central characters again”.

So what do you guys think do you want more universe 7 Saiyans?

That’s all for this Dragon Ball Super news, I hope you guys enjoyed it if you want to check out the articles yourself here is the articles.

Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest First chapter Released and More!

Hey everyone how are you all doing today? It’s another great Wednesday night, and I’m coming at you with some more Fairy Tail news!

So in order to check out this info for yourself just click on the links below.

https://www.google.com/amp/comicbook.com/anime/amp/2018/07/24/fairy-tail-anime-final-season-poster-natsu/

https://www.google.com/amp/comicbook.com/anime/amp/2018/07/25/fairy-tail-sequel-100-year-quest-color-manga-natsu/

https://www.google.com/amp/comicbook.com/anime/amp/2018/07/25/fairy-tail-sequel-100-year-quest-manga-release/

Now onto the news. It seems that Fairy Tail’s much-wanted sequel is here, and fans are freaking out over the debut.

The sequel made its debut in Japan earlier today as Weekly Shonen Magazine shared its 34th issue on July 15 abroad. So far, there is no word on when the sequel will be translated for an official U.S. release, but details about the sequel have their way online.

According to reports, the first chapter of Fairy Tail: 100 Year Quest begins with a big initiation. It seems a trio of mages were scouted to join Natsu’s guild, but Laxus winds up scaring two of them away. As for the third, the girl named Touka sticks with the group because she has a massive crush on Natsu.

Of course, the Dragon Slayer is far from his guild at the moment. He has brought his usual comrades out to complete a 100 Year Quest, a mission which no guild or mage has ever completed before. The gang must head to the world’s first guild to accept the big undertaking, but things take a turn when they discover a huge dragon awaiting them at the ancient guild.

Hiro Mashima does storyboarding on the new series, but Atsuo Ueda is the one finalizing the art. However, looking at this poster, it is hard to tell who did what.

And to the fans still awaiting for the rest of the anime of Fairy Tail to be released in October Hiro Mashima has released a little teaser of our favorite Fire Breathing Dragon Slayer.

Well that’s all the news I have for Fairy Tail at the moment as soon as I get anymore I’ll be sure to post about it. I hope you enjoyed this post if you did and want post notifications through email hit that follow button and have an awesome night.

Anime Review: Beautiful Animation and Mysterious Creatures in Mushi-Shi by Yuki Urushibara

Hey everyone I know I haven’t been posting anime reviews lately, but I havent had much of a chance to watch any anime as I’ve been busy trying to apply for college. But I recently just watched an awesome anime called:

Mushi-Shi

蟲師

Published by: Kodansha

English Publisher: Formerly Del Rey Manga

Demographic: Seinen

Magazine: Afternoon Seasons Zōkan (1999–2002) Monthly Afternoon (2002-2008)

Original Run: November 1999- August 25th 2008

Anime

Directed and Written by: Hiroshi Nagahama

Music by: Toshio Masuda

Studio: Artland

Licensed by: Madman Entertainment, Funimation, and Revealation Films

Original network: Fuji TV, BS Fuji

Original run time: October 23, 2005 June 19, 2006

Episodes: 26

Summary: So this is a very imaginative story about supernatural creatures called Mushi. They can cause some problems for people because they are usually hidden to human eyes. Some humans have the rare ability to see them but most people cannot see them. The people who can see them are called and study them are called Mushi Masters. And this story follows a Mushi Master named Ginko as he studies the Mushi and help people that are having problems caused by Mushi.

My review: 10/10🌟’s

So I really enjoyed watching this anime. At first I was very skeptical as each episode had a plethora of new characters and new storylines. I figured an anime like this wouldn’t have an ending or I would get bored with this anime. I was very wrong, each story shows the viewers new Mushi and the troubles they can cause people. I have to say I was very intrigued at the strong mythology of Mushi.

My favorite part of the anime was probably Ginko. He knows alot about Mushi and is usually very serious, but he can be a very funny character even amidst terrible tragedies.

I also enjoyed the animation of this anime as well as the soundtrack. It was spooky when it needed to be yet relaxing at the same time. I also really thought the depiction of the timeline from the Edo and Meiji periods were very interesting. The 19th century technology used in the anime was also very interesting. The anime felt very true to Japanese culture and with a show like this I’m glad they did it correctly.

Not to mention that this anime followed the manga very closely. The plot of each seperate episode kept me on the edge of my seat until the episode ended, amd then finally getting a look into what Ginko’s story was, I had to keep watching. I’m glad that Mushi-Shi got another anime called Mushi-Shi the next Passage as I’ll definitely be watching the anime very soon.

All in all this anime was absolutely amazing, I have no critiques for this anime so I give a full 10 stars. I hope you all enjoyed the review if you did and want post notifications hit that follow button and have an awesome day!

New Dragon Ball Super Movie: Broly

Hey all how are you doing on this fine Monday night? Well recently there has been some huge Dragon Ball Super news all over the internet and I’m here to inform you of it. It seems that we finally know who the villain for this canon movie will be and it’s:

Broly is one of the more polarizing characters in all of the Dragon Ball franchise, despite not being considered canon, but that may soon change. Leaked promotional material for this year’s Dragon Ball Super movie reveals the title of the film will be Broly.

The origin of the leaked material, which includes a poster and other merch, is unclear but it’s all over Reddit and Twitter, along with a whole lot of positive and negative responses to Broly possibly becoming canon.

The 2018 Dragon Ball Super movie has been teased since the series’ finale in March, with Akira Toriyama, the creator of the series, saying this about the upcoming film.

“The Dragon Ball Super movie this time will be the next story in the series currently airing on TV. It will be an episode after catching our breath from the climax of the Tournament of Power with the universe’s existence on the line; with content that will give a little better understanding about Frieza and the Saiyans, which I hadn’t properly depicted up till now; and leading to a mighty foe saved for the occasion, which I think has it shaping up to be a really enjoyable story.”
Everyone, do you know who Broly is?

He appeared only in past anime films, and is a ridiculously strong Saiyan. I am told I only drew his design; at that time I was mostly uninvolved with the anime, and so I completely forgot the details.

Even now it seems Broly is still very popular not just in Japan, but overseas as well, and because of that, the supervisors suggested, “Why don’t we make the movie about Broly this time?”

At that time I was shown the film, and I felt that it would become really interesting depending on how it’s arranged, so we started talking immediately about including [Broly] into the Dragon Ball Super series.

In order to not disappoint Broly fans, I was conscious of Broly’s past image, while also giving him new aspects, and I think he ended up as a fascinating Broly.

Of course, the film won’t just show amazing battles — it will also show what kind of fate Goku, Vegeta, and Broly will follow when they meet; how the Frieza Army is connected; and the history of the Saiyans — the content of the film is dramatic and has a huge scale.

That greatest Saiyan, Broly, appears!
There will be lots of other content that will be included for all the fans, so please look forward to it and wait a little longer until it is complete!!

Toei Animation will releasing three remastered classic Dragon Ball movies this fall in theaters, with one of them being the first Broly movie. Perhaps this is a way to give fans new to the franchise some background on the character.

Fairy Tail Sequel and Spin-off News!

Hey everyone how have you all been this week? It’s hot as hades up here in Massachusetts but with an air conditioner or a nice day at the beach people are enjoying it. While chilling in the AC I was looking up any news I could find on anything Fairy Tail and found alot, so sit back and enjoy!

So to start things off I’ll tell you guys about the fun new spin-off Fairy Tail Manga’s.

One is entitled

This manga is about Natsu and the gang as police people defending the city. If your majorly into comic books this is definetly something you should look into. And don’t fret because two favorites have been leaked to be making a comeback! Thanks comic book for this new info!

This next manga is about our favorite little blue Exceed Happy! He’s going to get his very own manga and it looks like he’s being useful and saving the day. According to Anime News Network Manga creator Kenshiro Sakamoto (Pitch-Black Ten) announced on Twitter that he will draw a spinoff of Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tailmanga titled Fairy Tail: Happy no Daibōken (Fairy Tail: Happy’s Grand Adventure). Sakamoto said the manga will launch “soon.” As the title suggests, the manga will feature Happy as a protagonist.

Now onto the last piece of Fairy Tail news I could find.

This new Fairy Tail has a rumored release date with a legit synopsis! According to comic book Mashima is also attached to the series’ two spin-offs, City Hero and Happy’s Grand Adventure. Right now, it looks like this sequel is slated to debut this month as the above advert pins chapter one to July 25, 2018. So, fans will want to keep a close eye on that date. And the synopsis of the sequel is “The fairy tail guild who has overcome a endless battle with Zeref and Acnologia and has quickly grown stronger and more noisy! What things might happen to the members of the guild when they go on a tiring adventure (a 100 year quest)!? From the 545th chapter, which was supposed to have been the ending of the story.”

So there you have it everyone. Again this release date is not 100% official yet so take the release date with a bit of a grain of salt. All the other news is legit though so get Fired up for some more Fairy Tail! I don’t know about you but I’ve got a fire in my belly, I don’t know if I can wait for this release!

I hope you enjoyed this post if you did and want to be notified of everytime I make a post just hit that follow button try not to burn down the town with your fire dragon roar!

Man Crush Monday: Gilbert Nightray from Pandora Hearts by Jun Mochizuki

Hey everyone how are you all doing today? I hope you all had an awesome weekend but it’s now Monday which means it’s time for another fun Man Crush Monday! This week my man crush is:

Gilbert Nightray

Not only is Gilbert a ridiculously hot tortured soul character he is also really funny and terrified of cats.

He’s also fiercely loyal and overprotective when it comes to the people he cares about. And if he feels like your getting to close to his master he will make sure to snatch Oz back.

Gilbert has been through alot in Pandora Hearts, thankfully the more horrendous parts of his youth he can’t remember. Most of his memories include Oz and when he first started working for the Bezarius family. It’s extremely frustrating for him because he knows a rather large part about himself is missing, and seems complacent to let it go until everything that happens with Oz.

Overall Gilbert is a fiercely loyal servant with the best interest for Oz at the core of his being. He will risk anything to keep Oz happy and save, Gilbert has even gone as far as to question Oz’s father and his employer of his foul treatment of Oz. As long as Gilbert is around Oz will always be taken care of and that’s why Gilbert Nightray is my Man Crush this Monday!

I hope you all enjoyed this fun Man Crush Monday. For notifications of my future posts hit that follow button and I hope you all have an awesome day!

Anime Review: Demons, Grim Reapers, and Sythes Oh My

Hey guys how is everyone doing today? It’s another awesome Friday which means it’s time for an anime review. This week the anime I’ll be reviewing is:

Black Butler

Now for this review I will only be reviewing Black Butler and Black Butler II. I have yet to see the other adaptations and they for the most part don’t connect well if at all to Black Butler II even if they are canon to the main plot.

In return, when Sebastian has helped Ciel finish all his tasks, such as working as a guard dog for the queen and defeating London’s worst criminals, but more importantly, avenging his parents’ deaths, Sebastian will be allowed to consume Ciel’s soul.

My review: 7/10⭐’s

While I love Sebastian and thought this anime had a lot of potential, there were quite a few misses to this anime adaptation. The characters and overall design was almost exact to the manga, but some of the characterizations were off and there were quite a few anime only characters.

The first season was very close to the manga until about after the Jack the Ripper Arc. Then everything started going downhill from there. To the people who have watched Black Butler you know what two elephants in the room I’m talking about:

Alois Trancy and Claude

Not only are these characters extremely unimportant to the actual plot but they are so damn annoying. Alois is a sadistic, spoiled little sociopath, while Claude is an arrogant and greedy demon trying to take what rightfully belongs to Sebastian.

I absolutely love Sebastian so of course you can imagine how much I can’t stand Claude or Aloise, not to mention he puts his hands on Bassie!

Then the worst part about season 2 was of course the ending. For those of you who are reading this review who hasn’t seen this anime I won’t spoil the ending for you. But it was absolutely ridiculous and a total cop out.

Overall Black Butler wasn’t terrible just do yourselves a favor and stay far away from Black Butler season 2.

Hope you enjoyed the review everyone if you did and want notifications if future post hit that follow button and have an awesome day!

Anime Review: Shakespeare Anime style: Fate Zero by Gen Urobuchi and Shinjirou

The main protagonist, Kiritsugu Emiya, is known as a merciless mage killer who joins the tournament on behalf of his wife’s family, the Einzberns.

My Review: 10/10⭐’s

This anime was absolutely amazing! It was extremely well written and close to the manga, the characters were all very memorable, and the look into human nature and a man’s idealism is crazy! And the battles oh my God they are beautifully animated and super epic.

So I absolutely love the characters in this anime! They all have a reason for fighting in the Grail War some of course are far more tragic than others.

This anime’s plot is great but can be a tad confusing at times so if you are going to watch this anime, make sure you can really sit and pay attention to what’s going on in the story. It’s also a tragic anime so be ready for all those feels.

Now onto one of my favorite things about this anime and that’s the awesome battle scenes! Of course this a battle of servants and Mage’s so most of the fighting is done with magic but in Kiritsugu’s case nothing but guns baby!

My second favorite thing about this anime is the villains. Some are obvious and right in your face while others are going through a metamorphosis and learning what it truly means to be a villain. This anime is filled with so many potential villains it’s honestly hard to keep them straight.

All in all this was a really good anime with a spectacular and intricate plot, beautiful animation, nail-biting fight scenes, and feels that will always linger in your heart.

Dragon Ball Super Tour Locations and Movie info!

Hey guys bookishnerdygirl here with some more awesome Dragon Ball news! I got my hands on some comic book articles that gives some awesome info on more upcoming Dragon Ball tour locations as well as a better look into what the new Dragon Ball movie will be about.

According to the tour’s new calendar, the Dragon Ball event will hit up a slew of conventions between July and October. You can check out the current listing below, but fans should note the list is not complete. Toei Animation has one more stop on its calendar that has yet to be announced.

Comic Con International in San Diego from July 18-22

Otakon in Washington, D.C. from August 10-12

Fan Expo Canada in Toronto from August 30-September 2

Rose City Comic Con in Portland from September 7-9

New York Comic Con in New York from October 4-7

Dallas Fan Days in Dallas from October 19-21

So one thing about this new movie that has the fans asking questions is when is this movie going to take place. Well according to creator Akira Toriyama, the arc presented in the Dragon Ball Super film is meant to follow the ‘Universal Survival’ arc that the show housed. In an official statement, the artist explained the new story will dive into the history of the Saiyans and the race’s ties with Freeza.

“The Dragon Ball Super movie this time will be the next story in the series currently airing on TV,” Toriyama wrote, confirming the movie’s placement (via Kanzenshuu).

“It will be an episode after catching our breath from the climax of the Tournament of Power with the universe’s existence on the line; with content that will give a little better understanding about Freeza and the Saiyans, which I hadn’t properly depicted up till now; and leading to a mighty foe saved for the occasion, which I think has it shaping.

Well that’s all the news I could find for now I’ll keep you all posted as soon as I find out anymore info. If you want notifications of when I post again hit that follow button and have a great day everyone!

Fate Stay Night Heaven’s Feel I. Presage Flower Trailer

Hey everyone I’m a major fan of the Fate series and I just looked on YouTube and saw that they released another new trailer for Heaven’s Feel. If your super excited for this route in the storyline catch it in Theatres at a theater near you from June 5th ro June 7th.

Well that’s the only other new info I’ve found guess there’s nothing left to do but wait for the movie to come out!

Top 10 Tuesday: Bookish Worlds I’d Want to/Never Want to Live In

Hey guys how is everyone doing today? I hope everyone has been having a great weekend so far! Today is Tuesday and it’s time for another awesome Top 10 Tuesday brought to you by That Artsy Reader Girl and created by The Broke and the Bookish this Top 10 Tuesday is:

Bookish Worlds I’d Want to/Never Want to Live In

Fiore from Fairy Tail by Hiro Mashima

So I love Fairy Tail, there’s always some threat in this world filled mythical being and magic. I’d love to live in this world because of Fairy Tail and all the different types of magic there is.

Erilea from Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

So I love Throne of Glass and all the different types of people and magic but I would never want to live here. Between evil demons, overly controlling dictatorship, and evil fae queens you could be dead in minutes.

First World from A Walker Saga by Jaymin Eve

I would totally love to live in First World! Not only are the people really cool and nice but there’s all kinds of different foods, and no such thing as money. People trade favors for favors to get food or clothes or anything else they need.

Mount Olympus from The Olympian Challenger

So it would be totally awesome to meet the Gods and Godesses of Mount Olympus, but if they are like they’re stories I would never want to live there. They have no consideration for anyone but themselves, and they could care less for humanity.

Middle Earth Lord of The Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien

So while I think Middle Earth is cool, but I wouldn’t want to live in this world. Not only is it dangerous and seriously battle ridden but it’s also kind of dirty. Like you figure there’s no plumbing which means everyone is smelly and dirty because there’s not any real soap, women can’t shave, and people can’t shower. Not to mention being a women in Middle Earth would totally suck.

So that’s it for this top 10 Tuesday what are some worlds you’d like to visit?

What are some bookish worlds you wouldn’t want to visit? If you enjoyed this post and want to be notified of when I post again hit that follow button and have a great day!

These Death Scythes, however, are not made from physical weapons; rather, they are born from human hybrids who have the ability to transform their bodies into Demon Weapons, and only after they have consumed the souls of 99 evil beings and one witch’s soul.

Soul Eater Evans, a Demon Scythe who only seems to care about what’s cool, aims to become a Death Scythe with the help of his straight-laced wielder, or meister, Maka Albarn. The contrasting duo work and study alongside the hot headed Black☆Star and his caring weapon Tsubaki, as well as the Shinigami’s own son, Death the Kid, an obsessive-compulsive dual wielder of twin pistols Patty and Liz.

Soul Eater follows these students of Shibusen as they take on missions to collect souls and protect the city from the world’s threats while working together under the snickering sun to become sounder in mind, body, and soul.

My review: 7/10⭐’s

So while I enjoyed this anime a great deal, I give it a lower rating because of how it ended. It was an awesome anime filled with amazing and funny characters, not to mention a very interesting plot. But for me unfortunately I couldn’t stand the ending!

It was so far off based from the manga I had no inkling to how the anime would end. Once it hits the Aracnay story arc the anime quickly veers off from the manga. Not to mention the anime doesn’t really give the audience an ending you just get stuck on a cliff hanger.

While the anime was comical and the characters funny and powerful the ending really just killed the anime for me. I’ve read the manga of Soul Eater and the way they end the manga is perfect and I would’ve loved to see it done in the anime.

One thing I really enjoyed about this anime is the attention to detail they showed for each individual’s back story. Not to mention I absolutely love the openings chosen for the anime they fit so well!

Well that’s it for this review guys I hope you enjoyed, if you want to be notified of everytime I make a post hit that follow button and have an awesome day!

Summary: Based on the Shogakukan award-winning manga of the same name, InuYasha follows Kagome Higurashi, a fifteen-year-old girl whose normal life ends when a demon drags her into a cursed well on the grounds of her family’s Shinto shrine. Instead of hitting the bottom of the well, Kagome ends up 500 years in the past during Japan’s violent Sengoku period with the demon’s true target, a wish-granting jewel called the Shikon Jewel, reborn inside of her.

After a battle with a revived demon accidentally causes the sacred jewel to shatter, Kagome enlists the help of a young hybrid dog-demon/human named Inuyasha to help her collect the shards and prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. Joining Kagome and Inuyasha on their quest are the orphan fox-demon Shippo, the intelligent monk Miroku, and the lethal demon slayer Sango. Together, they must set aside their differences and work together to find the power granting shards spread across feudal Japan and deal with the threats that arise.

So this review will be a little different as I will be reviewing the Inuyasha Manga and both anime adaptations.

My review: 10/10🌟’s

So I really enjoyed this anime. It was very close to the manga, the plot was a perfect blend of romance, comedy, swordfights, and adventure and the animation was really great.

So minus the episodes that are pure filler the Inuyasha anime to the Manga was ridiculously close. I think other than some differences in translation; the anime gave you all the same information as the manga.

My next favorite part of the series was the characters. They all had an awesome and deep back story that got them to hate the evil villain. And even the villains of the show were three dimensional and evil as hell. The show also had alot of antiheros that may have started out as minor villains.

And dont even get me started on the romance! I am totally team Kagome Inuyasha. Kikyo was more powerful and mature but I just loved Kagome and Inuyasha together! But of course there was other romances in the plot as well.

And of course this anime had me on the ground laughing and unable to breathe at times.

The plot was also really awesome. I loved watching and reading Kagome and Inuyasha get closer. It was also cool to see how close knit Inuyasha’s group was after getting to know each other. I think Inuyasha’s ending was one of my favorite endings from an anime. It ended just the way I was hoping and the plot twist was super amazing!

Overall these anime’s were very amazing and I enjoyed watching them. I loved the characters, plot, romance, comedy, and action. I’m so glad I watched this anime it’s definitely a favorite of mine.

So that’s it for this review I hope you enjoyed come back next Friday to see what anime I review next, and have a great weekend!

New Dragon Ball Anime and movie Animation

Hey everyone how are you all doing this week? It’s another awesome Friday and I just got some awesome news about Dragon Ball! I found some new articles from comic book and had to post a blog about the news!

As it turns out, the new anime is a PR title, meant to promote the Dragon Ball Heroes arcade/card game that’s popular in Japan. While some fans are scrambling to learn what Dragon Ball Heroes is all about, other fans are wondering how the game is being translated to anime.

Dragon Ball Super fans know the setup of the Universal Survival saga, namely tournament held by the Grand Zenos with the strongest fighters from throughout the multiverse. It saw Goku go Ultra Instinct for an epic fight against new fan-fav fighter Jiren of Universe 11. Heroes even spoiled the final Goku/Freeza tag-team battle against Jiren, months before the anime reached that point!

Also we finally got a look at some more of the animation from the Dragon Ball Super movie. So, if you are ready to see a brand-new take on the iconic form, just look below!

As you can see, the first-look came courtesy of a vetted sources in the anime realm. Yonkou Productions shared images of Vegeta and Goku as Super Saiyans, and the Weekly Shonen Jump art reimagines the form.

At first glance, there isn’t anything too different about the Super Saiyan form. The makeover is different from how the power-up appeared in Dragon Ball Super. Though it is colorful, the Dragon Ball Super movie mutes some of its shadowing. If anything, the new style is more reminiscent to the way Super Saiyan first appeared in Dragon Ball Z.

Also, just take a look at that slick hair. The heroes may not be shining with any Ki auras, but Goku doesn’t look like anyone you want to mess with in this new still.

For those curious, this new design is in line with the overall aesthetic change of Dragon Ball Super. The series will get a major makeover when its first film drops, and fans can thankNaohiro Shintani for that gift. The beloved animator was brought in by Toei Animation to oversee the movie, and his impressive resume includes projects such as One Piece Film Z.

So that’s it for this post I hope you enjoyed hearing more Dragon Ball news, have a great weekend guys!

Anime Review: Tim Burton meets Alice and Wonderland in Pandora Hearts by Jun Mochizuki

Summary: Oz Vessalius, one of the Heirs of the Four Dukedoms, has just turned fifteen. His life is rich and carefree, darkened only by the constant absence of his father. At his coming-of-age ceremony, however, everything changes. For no reason that he can discern, he is cast into the prison known as the “Abyss,” only to be saved by a “chain” known as Alice, the Bloodstained Black Rabbit or B-Rabbit for short. The mystery begins there as Oz unravels the mystery behind Alice, the Abyss and the strange organization known as Pandora. The series features heavy references to Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass and can be considered both fantasy and mystery.

My review: 7.5🌟’s of 10

So I really enjoyed this anime alot. It was interesting, had really interesting characters, a mysterious plot that kept the reader interested and an animation style that was perfect for this anime.

The plot was really interesting and fast paced, everytime you turned around the mystery of Alice and OZ became more gut wrenching. You needed answers and once you got them it brought forth a million more questions in it’s wake. The battle scenes and how they used the chains and bits from Alice and Wonderland was also a very nice touch.

One thing that made this anime for me was the interaction between characters. I absolutely love Alice and Gilbert’s banter. I also loved how Break would just pop out of literally no where.

My only complaint is that the anime ended way too soon and that the last 3 episodes had absolutely nothing to do with the manga. I would love to see a second season for Pandora Hearts now that the manga is finished.

Well thats it for this review I hope you all enjoyed it, hit that follow button to get notifications on when I post. If you want to be a part of my newsletter follow me through email and I’ll add you to the list. Well thats it for today I hope you all have an awesome weekend!

Women Crush Wednesday: Bulma Dragon Ball Franchise by Akira Toriyama

Hey guys how is everyone doing today? My allergies are starting to get better but still crappy and annoying the hell out of me. But I’m sure I’ll be feeling much better by the end of the week and onto why you’re all here, and its time for another amazing Women Crush Wednesday! So this week for my women crush I chose:

Bulma

So I chose Bulma as my woman Crush because she’s super intelligent, a tough character that is very helpful and not just annoying and is full of courage.

Bulma is a scientist that is so intelligent her family has created jujust about any automobile known to man. I mean the girl single handedly created a frigan time machine! Seriously even if she can be annoying and naggy at times have to give her mad props.

Another reason I chose Bulma is because of her determination and inner strength. I mean the girl has the most evil saiyan prince wrapped around her finger, and forced him to change his ways.

Not only does she have an inner strength but the girls slaps are absolutely legendary. I mean she was brave enough to slap the almight God of Destruction. And now even he doesn’t want to feel another one of Bulma’s signature slaps and freak out sessions.

Bulma also has a way of making people feel the gravity of a situation. Especially in Dragon Ball super, I mean she made the God of Destruction Beerus feel responsible for helping out Future Trunks’ timeline.

So thats why Bulma is my Woman Crush; she’s intelligent, blunt, strong, determined, courageous, and a little crazy. I hope you enjoyed the blog hit that follow button to see my future posts. Also I’ll be starting an email newsletter as soon as I can so if you’re interested in that as well follow me through email. I hope you all have a great rest of your day!

Man Crush Monday: Edward Elric Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood by Hiromu Arakawa

Hey guys how is everyone doing today? I hope you all had an amazing weekend. It was quite relaxing for me a little hotter and humid then I would’ve liked but enjoyable all the same. Even got to see my fella which was great lol. Anyways, today is Monday and time for a fun ManCrush Monday! And this week my choice for ManCrush is:

Edward Elric

Not only is Ed super intelligent and caring but he’s a fighter and protector who’s been through alot.

Ed also has a very strong moral code and will under no circumstance kill another person. He will mess you up quite a bit though if you screw with him or someone he cares deeply about.

Ed’s also a really funny character with a terrible temper especially if you call him short. He gets even more mad if you call his younger bother Al the Fullmetal Alchemist because he’s taller than Ed.

He’s also quite bashful at times and can even be caught off guard when he’s around his childhood friend Winry.

But thats why I chose Ed as my Man Crush he’s a great guy who’s very loyal to his loved one’s and wants the world to be a better place. So if you liked this post hit that follow button as within a few weeks I’ll be sending out my first weekly newsletter!

Dragon Ball Super Movie Plot Details!

Hey guys how is everyone doing today? I hope everyone is having a great week so far. So I was looking on the internet and got my hands on some great new Dragon Ball Super news.

So according to KoreaPortal and comicbook one exciting detail that was revealed is that the Dragon Ball Super movie will be introducing at least one brand new planet, as reported by Blasting News. This was revealed when Toriyama released 20 sheets of designs which include the new planet as well as designs from some of the film’s characters and machines. With this detail in mind, fans can expect Goku to go on exciting adventures touring exotic lands and meeting new friends as well as new enemies.

So it appears Toriyama had a good amount of time invested in this movie. He stepped back a bit compared to his other movies but I like where this new story is going and the animation style.

Toriyama provided the film’s story, 20 sheets of character and machine designs and “at least” one new planet. Conversation with the creator was done mostly by email, with in-person meet-ups every two months or so. The staff proposed ideas for a movie last Spring, which Toryama initially rejected but got him to provide a new story in May 2017.

Toei Animation is now working with Toriyama’s story, which he worried was too short but further adjustments made it too long. He then personally selected animator Naohiro Shintani for the character designer as he wanted someone who could draw Goku in a particular way.

He made sure that whoever would design the characters would understand how to perfectly balance a body under martial arts uniform. Fans should take note of how involved Toriyama is, and that’s certainly exciting for the future of the franchise.

According to Dragon Room chief Akio Iyoku, the DBS movie will have a “multilayered” story with parts set in both the past and present, and multiple settings. Toriyama’s provided the story and over 20 sheets of designs, including characters, machines, and at least one new planet.

So for now we know this movie will take place in the future and the past. Hopefully we’ll get some info on the Saiyans history and the beef Freiza’s people has with the Saiyans.

Man Crush Monday: Natsu Dragneel Fairy Tail

Hey everyone how are you all doing today? I hope everyone had an awesome weekend but it’s time for another fun Man Crush Monday! And this week my nomination for Man Crush is:

Natsu Dragneel

I chose Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail because of his loyalty, kind heart, strength and determination to get stronger and defeat all enemies who threaten his guild.

He’s also a really funny character who looks at life as a cool adventure.

But just because he’s a majorly goofy and strong character doesn’t mean he doesn’t have his own issues. And as the series or manga progresses we get a deeper look into Natsu’s character and the many issues he has because of his past. One of his main issues is his abondanment issues after the dissapearance of his foster father Igneel. Not only that but he also can’t remember his past before he met Igneel. But the reason I love Natsu is because of what a loyal, and kind hearted person he is. Even though he’s had some really bad experiences he came out a very caring and loyal person onw of the reason I ship Nalu (Natsu and Lucy) so much is because I think Natsu and Lucy really understand each other.

Well that it for this Man Crush Monday I hope you enjoyed! Come back anytime I post constantly so drop by whenever have a great day!

Alchemy is bound by this Law of Equivalent Exchange—something the young brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric only realize after attempting human transmutation: the one forbidden act of alchemy. They pay a terrible price for their transgression—Edward loses his left leg, Alphonse his physical body. It is only by the desperate sacrifice of Edward’s right arm that he is able to affix Alphonse’s soul to a suit of armor. Devastated and alone, it is the hope that they would both eventually return to their original bodies that gives Edward the inspiration to obtain metal limbs called “automail” and become a state alchemist, the Fullmetal Alchemist.

Three years of searching later, the brothers seek the Philosopher’s Stone, a mythical relic that allows an alchemist to overcome the Law of Equivalent Exchange. Even with military allies Colonel Roy Mustang, Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye, and Lieutenant Colonel Maes Hughes on their side, the brothers find themselves caught up in a nationwide conspiracy that leads them not only to the true nature of the elusive Philosopher’s Stone, but their country’s murky history as well. In between finding a serial killer and racing against time, Edward and Alphonse must ask themselves if what they are doing will make them human again… or take away their humanity.

My Review: 9/10⭐’s

So first and foremost let me just say that I love Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. I’ve watched the series 3 different times and even got my family to check out the anime. The reason I love this anime is because of the plot, characters, and close proximity to the manga. There was an anime adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist before brotherhood but that is another matter completely.

So one thing that made me instatly fall in love with this anime was definetly the Elric brothers. Ed was intelligent, strong, and really funny when he got mad; where Al was kind, patient, and very calm. And where alot of anime don’t do their side characters justice Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood goes above and beyond making every character matter.

The plot was also very enjoyable and intricate. It had so many twists and turns but knew when to take a break and add some humor to the deadly situation. There were times I cried, times I swooned, and times where the feels hit me so hard I wanted to curl up in bed and never come out.

One thing that the first anime adaptation had that Brotherhood didn’t was the story went into a completely different direction then the manga. While the story was creative nothing competes with the manga. The characters were all the same and the plot followed the manga to a T.

Well thats it for this review I hope you enjoyed it. All in all Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood was a great anime that followed the manga amazingly had memorable characters and kept anyone who watched it on the edge of their seats. Come back anytime ad check out my other content I hope you have a great weekend!

Summary: A shinigami, as a god of death, can kill any person—provided they see their victim’s face and write their victim’s name in a notebook called a Death Note. One day, Ryuk, bored by the shinigami lifestyle and interested in seeing how a human would use a Death Note, drops one into the human realm.

High school student and prodigy Light Yagami stumbles upon the Death Note and—since he deplores the state of the world—tests the deadly notebook by writing a criminal’s name in it. When the criminal dies immediately following his experiment with the Death Note, Light is greatly surprised and quickly recognizes how devastating the power that has fallen into his hands could be.

With this divine capability, Light decides to extinguish all criminals in order to build a new world where crime does not exist and people worship him as a god. Police, however, quickly discover that a serial killer is targeting criminals and, consequently, try to apprehend the culprit. To do this, the Japanese investigators count on the assistance of the best detective in the world: a young and eccentric man known only by the name of L.

My review: 8/10🌟’s

So while I enjoyed this anime series quite a bit I have to say certain parts had me feeling underwhelmed while other parts annoyed me so imensly I just wanted to stop watching. But as the plot thickened and more characters got introduced I kept watching. My favorite character albeit a very background character was Watari. He’s extremely intelligent, quiet, and a kind person.

One of the reasons I also wasn’t super crazy about this anime was how different it was from the manga. The conversations that were had between characters especially Near and Mello weren’t shown very much if at all in the anime series. While I understand most people not caring for L’s proteges they were still very intelligent and important in the manga. I was also unhappy with the unnecessary action scenes that replaced alot of the interesting conversations as well as how the anime ended versus how the manga ended.

So this anime was very well done of course L being an instant favorite but there was alot the anime missed out on that made the ending of the series feel stagnate and rushed. Some of the important character traits or last words in the manga were also cut out from the anime cutting the drama between characters that I was really hoping for. I was also unhappy that certain characters lost important personality traits but all in all it was a very decent anime. It is definetly one of those animes that you only need to watch once without rewatching it.

Thats it for this blog post everyone. Swing by again and check out my content I post all the time so swing by anytine. I hope you enjoyed and have a great day!

Top 10 Tuesday: Favorite Bookish Characters

Hey everyone how are you all doing today? It’s been a crappy day in Massachusetts as it’s been cold and rainy. The weather has made me ridiculously sluggish abd tired, but into why I’m sure you are all here it’s time for another fun Top 10 Tuesday. This concept was created by The Broke and the Bookish but is now being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. So for this Top 10 Tuesday it was aa freebie and the Topic I chose was my top 10 favorite Bookish Characters.

Wylan-Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

I absolutely love Wylan! He’s super intelligent and while gentle and maybe a bit soft hearted for the Dreggs he has an amazing amount if inner strength that I even think surprised Kaz.

Dean Winchester- Supernatural by Keith R.A. DeCandido

Dean is beyond a loyal character and family means everything to him. He’s badass and even gave up his life for his brother you don’t get much better than Dean Winchester. And of course while he’s a total badass he’s also really funny and a total sassy smartass

Stark- House of Night series/Otherworld by PC Cast and Kristin Cast

Stark is such an amazing man that when reading the original series I thought was wasted on Zoey. He’s very loyal, kind, blunt, and compassionate. He would do anything for Zoey and The House of Night and his inner strength and skill with a bow totally sucked me in and instantly he became my book boyfriend lol.

Yrene Towers-Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas

So while I enjoyed this book it’s not one of my favorites out of the series. The thing that really kept me going in this series was Yrene. She was such a no bullshit kind of character and really put Chaol in his place when he needed it. She’s smart, knows how to protect herself, and is a total badass healer that isn’t afraid to go to war.

Lucien-A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas

I really liked Lucien for his loyalty and complexity. With his past history with his family it’s plain to see Lucien still hasn’t recovered from his past and maybe he never will. Lucien gave me a co.plecity that I didn’t feel from the other characters in the series. His loyalty of course was partially his downfall but it’s still an amazing quality to have.

Rissa Renauld-A Prophecy of Darkness by M. Lynn and Michelle Bryan

I’m very happy that Rissa is such a strong female character. She is worth alot in the series and maybe royalty but she wants to fight and contribute to her kigdom. She also doesn’t want to simply marry and produce heirs to be considered useful to her kingdom. She’s stubborn, loyal, very emotional and amazingly skilled with a bow.

Yu Kanda D-Grayman by Katsura Hoshino

Kanda once again is a very conplex character. He doesn’t let people in very easily and has a terrible past he can never get over. He’s a complete mystery and a powerful character that has alot of depth.

Vegeta- Dragon Ball franchise by Akira Toriyama

He started out as such a villain but became a major anti-hero and I can’t help but love him especially after watching Dragon Ball Super. He’s a great father, very powerful and intelligent when it comes to battle, and is very protective of the earth.

Thomas Schreiber-The Great Library series by Rachel Caine

Thomas was such an innocent character wanting to make the world a better place with his press. His imprisonment really hardened his character but he’s still a gentle giant and my favorite character in the series

Allysson Loren- Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch

We didn’t hear much about Alysson except how motherly she was. She was very caring of the little camp she shared with her fellow Winterians. She had an inner strength that couldn’t be broken and even of she died for the cause she would’ve died with a smile on her face as she did.

So these are some of my favorite books series. I did my best to keep it one character per book series but I’m sure you all understand how difficult that can be. Thats my Top 10 Tuesday for this week swing by next week and see what the new list will be have a good day!

Man Crush Monday: D-Greyman Lavi Bookman Jr.

Hey everyonr how are you all doing today? I had an awesome and relaxing weekend and of course I hope you all did as well. Adulting can be so difficult and its just nice to sit back and relax once in a while lol. Anyways let’s get down to buisness today is Monday it’s time for another fun Man Crush Monday! This week my Man Crush Monday is:

Lavi Bookman Jr.

So I absolutely love D-Greyman! The plot is awesome but what really draws me in is the characters.

Lavi is a very interesting character because he tries so hard to be nearly someone who watches the war without really getting involved in it but his heart always betrays him. He wants to believe he doesn’t have one but anyone who has watched the show knows Lavi is an amazing and super loyal character. He smiles constantly and maybe when he first entered yhe organization he had no intention of getting close to anyone but in the end he kind of failed and started really caring about his team especially Lena Lee.

Lavi has a difficult past that he obviously doesn’t like to talk about, with even his introduction into the organization being extremely painful for him.

Lavi has had to have many different aliases because of his job but when meeting Allen and Lena Lee I think he really dropped that facade of him not caring or having a heart and showed who he truly was.

Of course that conflicts Lavi further as now he constantly has to assess whether or not he is doing his job as a bookman correctly or allowing his heart to get in the way.

Well thats it for this man crush Monday I hope everyone enjoyed I post blogs constantly so swing by anytime and have a great day!

Fairy Tail News!

Hey everyone so as you know I love books but I also love manga, anime, and videogames. And one of my favorite anime’s is Fairy Tail by Hiro Mashima. Well I just got some awesome new information about the new anime series! So these are some official tweets by Hiro Mashima regarding some juicy Fairy Tail details.

So according to the author of Fairy Tail Hiro Mashima we are getting a brand new Fairy Tail anime in Fall of 2018.

For those unfamiliar with Fairy Tail, the series was originally created by Hiro Mashima. It is set in a fantasy world full of magic, and Natsu Dragneel is a fire breathing wizard with the powers of a dragon, and is in search of his missing foster father, the dragon Igneel. As he and his wizarding guild Fairy Tail get into adventures, Natsu always tries to find a way to succeed. The series ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from August 2006 to July 2017 and has spawned 60 million copies. It was later adapted into an anime by A-1 Pictures, Dentsu Inc., and Satelight in 2009 and ended its first run in 2013. A second series ran from 2014 to 2016, and a third series is planned for a 2018 release.

Also according to Hiro Mashima a spin off sequel series to the Fairy tail manga is in the works.

I’m super happy that I don’t have to say goodbye to Fairy Tail just yet. Afterall reading that final page of the Fairy Tail manga totally killed me. I had a feeling that the story of these characters was not yet over and now I can hope that I’m right! This is a sequel or spin off series though so I’m not quite sure if this new manga will have anything to do with the original characters.

According to comicbook: Yes, the sequel to Fairy Tail has been officially announced by Kodansha Comics, and the series will be directly overseen by Mashima.

Not long ago, Comic Natalie shared the official sequel order, and the announcement shared new information about the sequel. According to Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, Mashima will work on the sequel as a supervisor while yet-named creators pen the title. This means the new series will not be drawn by Mashima himself, but it will need his approval for story arcs, designs, and more (via Crunchyroll).

So thats all the news I could find on Fairy Tail I’m super excited that the new Fairy Tail anime will be premiering this coming fall. I’m also happy to here about the new sequel manga for Fairy Tail, its a good thing Hiro Mashima will be in charge making sure story arcs and plots are written correctly even if they’re not in charge of the drawing and art style.

Thats all for today everyone I hope you got the info you were looking for. I’ll do my best to keep you other Fairy Tail fans posted. Swing by anytime as I post constantly have a good day and keep watching anime. 😀

ManCrush Monday: Black Butler Sebastian Michaelis

Hey guys how is everyone doing today I hope everyone had a totally awesome weekend! But because its Monday its time for another fun Man Crush Monday! This week my Man Crush is:

Sebastian Michaelis

So I know Sebastian is a demon and really evil but I can’t help but love him! He is very loyal to Ciel and despite his excuse of only helping Ciel so he can eat his soul the people who have read the manga know differently.

Honestly in the manga Sebastian acts more humane towards life and people then Ciel does. I think another reason he keeps Ciel around instead of just killing him and drain his soul is because Ciel fascinates him, especially because he has such a large inner strength. But in the manga Sebastian is very curious, intelligent, mysterious, deadly, and sex as hell!

Not to mention I love anyone who loves cats like evil or not lol.

So thats it for this Man Crush Monday swing by anytime to check out more of my content hope you all have a great day!

Summary: Tokyo Ghoul is set in an alternate reality where ghouls, carnivorous monsters who look exactly like normal people but can only survive by eating human flesh, live among the human population in secret, hiding their true nature in order to evade pursuit from the authorities. Including enhanced speed, senses, and regenerative ability, a regular ghoul is several times stronger than a normal human, has a skin resistant to ordinary piercing weapons and has at least one special predatory organ called a “Kagune”, which it can manifest and use as a weapon during combat. Another distinctive trait of ghouls is that when they are excited or hungry, the color of their sclera in both eyes turns black and their irises red. This mutation is known as a “kakugan.” In the case of a half-ghoul, only one of the eyes undergoes the transformation. A half-ghoul can either be born naturally as a ghoul and a human’s offspring, or artificially created by transplanting some ghoul organs into a human. In both cases, a half-ghoul is usually much stronger than a pure-blood ghoul. There is also the case of half-humans, hybrids of ghouls and humans that can feed like normal humans and lack a Kagune while possessing enhanced abilities, but shortened lifespans. To hunt down the ghouls, several government-sponsored organizations around the world were created.

My Review: So I rate this anime a 9/10🌟’s the anime was filled with blood, spectacular fight scenes, crazy humans and ghouls and for a 12 episode anime stuck with the Manga pretty decently. I think what also drew me into this anime was the characters. Even though the Ghouls are meant to be monsters they have feelings and souls, some are horrible and crazy while others only want a peaceful existence. Plus any anime that gives me the feels like this anime did is an anime I give good ratings too.

I think what made me really enjoy this anime is that you question every sense of moral issue shown by each character. Some are by the CCG hunting the ghouls seeking revenge for lost loved ones and friends, or the ghouls who are monsters by nature that feel and lose the people they care about all because they were born. Its tough because their is no sense of justice or peace for either side because they’ve both lost so much.

But thats why I really enjoyed this anime it was accurate to the Manga for the most part, was filled with plenty of fighting and blood, but also had the power to give me and other who have watched it major feels and left us hollow as their really was to much blood shed for anyone to really get justice for what they lost.

Well folks thats it for this review I hope everyone enjoyed, I post all the time so check out my other content anytime. Goodbye for now I hope everyone has a happy and relaxing weekend see you Monday!

Women Crush Wednesday: Erza Scarlet Fairy Tail

Hey guys how’s everyone doing today? Today is another fabulous Wednesday and because its Wednesday it’s time for another Women Crush Wednesday! So as we all know men get a lit of love and their own titles for Man Crush Monday’s so I feel its only fair to have a Women Crush Wednesday to give women the same shout out. So this week my Women Crush Wednesday is:

Erza Scarlet

I love Fairy Tail and one of my absolutely favorite characters is Erza Scarlet. She’s such a crazy force of nature thats loving, and very self sacrificing.

She has a very dark past and was betrayed by the one she loved but that never made a difference on how she treated people.

If anything it made her more determined to be strong and be their for the people she cared for. She’s loyal, funny, and very intelligent and the people she cares for know who she really is.

She is very closed off to people who don’t know her but if you do have the pleasure of being close to Erza and knowing her story she will do anything and everything to protect and help you. Even strangers who are in danger and mean nothing to Erza she will try everything to help them and keep them safe. Erza is such a badass that it’s cool to know she has a much softer and caring side to combat her armor thick outer shell.

Well thats it for this Women crush Wednesday I hope you enjoyed! I post all the time so swing by anytime to check out my content, have a good and safe day everyone!

Tokyo Ghoul Season 3 Premiere!

Hey guys whats up? As you know I love books, videogames, and anime and one of my favorite animes is Tokyo Ghoul! I loved the first season of the anime but I hated root A as it completely deterred from the manga. But thankfully we are getting a season 3 of Tokyo Ghoul that will be focused on Tokyo Ghoul re manga. So according to comicbook, otakuart, and Koreanportal these are some crucial things you need to know before the third season.

1.) Tokyo Ghoul:re returns to the series’ canon, and takes place essentially after the end of the first season of the series. So in order to catch up with the current events of the series, the only episodes fans need to be aware of are the first 12 episodes of the first season.

2.) Tokyo Ghoul: re is set two years after the events of the original series and follows Haise Sasaki, a member of the CCG and leader of a special squad of investigators who have implanted the CCG’s specialty weapon, the Quinque, into their bodies and essentially have become half ghoul. The kicker, however, is that Haise is actually Ken Kaneki from the original series who’s suffering from a bout of amnesia.

3.) The trailer drop came shortly after Funimation announced its dub plans for the new Tokyo Ghoul season. The show will be SimulDubbed by the studio starting April 3 at 10 a.m. CST. The first episodes of season three will get their dub the same day of their original Japanese release. The strategy is a new one Funimation is testing for the next anime season as My Hero Academia will start off with same-day SimulDubs. So, hopefully the studio can streamline the process to make the quick turnaround a standard thing for future titles.

4.) The season will air on April 3rd 2018. I’m personally excited for the season 3 but I’m not raising my expectations. It can’t be too bad and I’d like to be positive about the whole thing. Do let me know what you think about the upcoming season of Tokyo Ghoul.

One fan who already saw the first episode of Tokyo Ghoul had this to say:

Here’s a trailer for the new Tokyo Ghoul season premiering today April 3rd. A Funimation simulcast dub is also coming out today.

What do you think? Will you be tuning in tonight to check out Tokyo Ghoul season 3 because I know I will! Hope everyone jas a good day!

Code Geass News and More!

Hey all hope you’re all having an amazing Friday. So I just read some awesome news about a very popular anime named Code Geass. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ Kōdo Giasu: Hangyaku no Rurūshu), was created by Sunrise, directed by Gorō Taniguchi, and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi, with original character designs by manga authors Clamp. This very popular Shonen anime is set in an alternate timeline, the series focuses on how the former prince Lelouch vi Britannia obtains a power known as Geass and decides to use it to obliterate the Holy Britannian Empire, a superpower that has been conquering various countries.

This anime came out in October 5, 2006 and finished in July 28, 2007. The anime consisted of 25 episodes and picked up another anime or second season called Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2. That also had 25 episodes and ran from April 6, 2008 – September 28, 2008.

Fans have awaited for any news about a 3rd season for the show and according to comic book and Otakuart we have finally gotten some news! The series may have taken a bow after its second season ended, but the anime isn’t done just yet. A couple years back, fans learned the classic shonen title would return for a third season, and the official title for the release just dropped.

Not long ago, the official Twitter account for Gode Geass confirmed the name of season three for fans. The film will be subtitled as Re;surrection and use some stylized punctuation. Fans learned the project would bear the sub-header awhile back, but the folks behind the new season only revealed its stylized spelling.

This according to comic book is what the team had to say

Code Geass Season 3 is probably one of the biggest and the most awaited animeof 2018. For the 10th anniversary of Code Geass, the staff decided to do 3 movies, which would be a compilation of both the seasons of the Code Geass anime.

The movies were also supposed to add extra scenes, which have never been seen before. The first two movies have already been released in Japan, the third movie is going to be out on May 26, later this year. For the third movie, we have lots of new information. The website for the Code Geass franchise released a teaser, along with a commercial to hype up the movie even further. The third film is going to include content from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, and will be named Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Ōdō (lit.: The Imperial Path, official English subtitle: Glorification).

So thats it for this blog post. What do you think about this new info are you excited for the confirmation of season 3 and the new movie? Let me know what you think in the comments below have a good weekend everyone and hopefully we get some more news!

Anime Review: Scarier than Vampires Now Enter the Crusnik, Trinity Blood

Hey guys it’s Friday and time for a fun anime review! This is an anime I watched a long time ago but can still remember every detail of the anime.

Trinity Blood (Japanese: トリニティ・ブラッドHepburn: Toriniti Buraddo) is a series of Japanese light novels written by Sunao Yoshida with illustrations by Thores Shibamoto and originally serialized in The Sneaker. Set 900 years after an apocalyptic war between humans and vampires, the series focuses on the ongoing cold war between the Vatican, the human government, and the “New Human Empire”, the government of the vampiric Methuselah.[1] Fighting on the Vatican’s side is Abel Nightroad, a Crusnik – a vampire that feeds on vampires. The novels blend science fiction, fantasy, and political intrigue, with some in the Vatican and the Empire striving for peace, and the Rosen Kreuz Order doing anything in its power to stop it.

This anime was very well done and kept my attention on not only the intrigue of different characters but the main plot as well. Each character was powerful and to some extent cared about what would happen to mankind hence why they were there.

Don’t be fooled by all the blood and fighting this anime has the immense power to hit you right in the feels! It allows us, as the audience to understand and connect with the characters and root for them to achieve their goals. But I think besides the character depth my favorite part of this short anime is the immense power that is Crusnik.

While the novels, manga, and anime series all cover the same basic story and feature many of the same characters, they do have some minor and major differences. Each has its own unique variation on the major story arcs, and in general the novels give the most detail concerning the political elements and background information on the stories. There are a few minor name changes and many details found in the novels are not given in the anime or manga.

So all in all I give this anime 8🌟’s out of 10.

I highly recommend this to anyone who’s a fan of awesome fight scenes, an interesting storyline, and characters you just can’t hate. I hope you enjoyed my review swing by anytime and check out my other stuff. Thats all for today have a great weekend!

ManCrush Monday: Dr. Franken Stein Soul Eater by Atsushi Ōkubo

Hey guys whats up? I hope you are all doing well and that you had a nice relaxing weekend. So today is Monday amd because its Monday its time for another fun and exciting Man Crush Monday! So this week my Man Crush is:

Dr. Franken Stein

So I chose Dr. Stein because he’s extremly intelligent and talented as a Meister. He’s very introverted and a scientist at heart. He can be creepy in his studies and disections but he’s a loyal friend and a very good teacher. He does genuinely care about his students and colleagues but acts as though they’re merely test subjects to keep himself detached.

Unfortunately he gets very lonely and often feels that he’s the odd man out. Even though he does like his solace it seems that the one experiment he has never tried or is to afraid to try is truly getting close to the people around him.

I also like him because he’s naturally inquisitive and knows how to spare someone’s feelings especially his favorite student Makka. He can be really creepy in the fact that he mostly performs experiments whilst you’re asleep but in his creepiness he’s extremly funny in his dry humor.

That is why I vote Dr. Franken Stein as my Man Crush this Monday! He’s creepy and antisocial but loyal and extremly intelligent.

Well thats it for this blog post. I hope everyone who reads this enjoys it and if your curious about my other content feel free to stop by my website. I hope you all have a good and safe day, until next time!

Man Crush Monday: Kouichi Sakakibara

Hey guys how is everyone doing today? Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend I caught up on some sleep not to much else this weekend lol. But today is Monday and because it’s Monday its time for another fun Man Crush Monday! So this week’s Man Crush Monday is:

Kouichi Sakakibara

So I chose Sakaki because of what an amazing but troubled character he is. I mean he’s living with his grandparents trying to figure out how to save everyone from a curse no one has any control over. He’s compassionate, intelligent, strong willed, kind, and courageous. He stands up for his beliefs in facts and people, even if it means sacrificing himself to the rest of his class.

Kouichi is also a really sweet guy and treats females very well.

Sakaki’s personality is outgoing and it’s cool because he doesn’t take shit and can dish it out just as quickly.

But overall Sakaki is a very good person even though he’s been through alot he stays a very good person.

So thats it for this Man Crush Monday guys. I hope everyone enjoyed I post Monday-Friday so don’t be afraid to swing by and check out my content.

Top 10 Tuesday: Favorite Book Quotes

Hey everyone how are you all doing today? Today is another amazing Tuesday and because its Tuesday its time for another awesome Top 10 Tuesday. This concept was originally thought of byThe Broke and The Bookish but is now being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. When you’re finished reading this definetly go and check out both of those blogs because they’re totally awesome. So this weeks Top 10 Tuesday is favorite book quotes. So this is going to be a long one cause I totally have like a million favorite bookish quotes. So sit back and relax and enjoy all the amazing quotes!

So alot of the quotes I chose, I chose because they are empowering, they are really funny and such a realistic thing for the character to say, or the quote is something that speaks to me on a very personal level. So here are some of my favorite quotes from my favorite books!

Vampire Academy/Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead

“If I let myself love you, I won’t throw myself in front of her. I’ll throw myself in front of you.”- Dimitri

“You are an exceptional, talented, and brilliant young woman. Do not ever let anyone make you feel like you’re less. Do not ever let anyone make you feel invisible. Do not let anyone—not even a teacher who constantly sends you for coffee—push you around.”- Adrian

I want her to be happy. It’s worth sacrificing myself.” –Eddie

He shouldn’t have said that,” repeated Adrian, eerily serious. He leaned his face toward mine. “I don’t care if he’s not the emotional type or the complimentary type or what. No one can look at you in this dress, in all that fire and gold, and start talking about anachronisms. If I were him, I would have said, ‘You are the most beautiful creature I have ever seen walking this earth.- Adrian

(I absolutely love these men)!

Snow Like Ashes by Sarah Raasch

Fear is a seed that, once planted, never stops growing.

That’s why literature is so fascinating. It’s always up for interpretation, and could be a hundred different things to a hundred different people. It’s never the same thing twice.

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabss Tahir

All the beauty of the stars means nothing when life here on earth is so ugly.

I’d rather die than live with no mercy, no honor, no soul.

Throne of Glass

Libraries were full of ideas—perhaps the most dangerous and powerful of all weapons.

We all bear scars,… Mine just happen to be more visible than most.

You could rattle the stars,” she whispered. “You could do anything, if only you dared. And deep down, you know it, too. That’s what scares you most.

House of Night Series

I’m her protection! I don’t care if it’s in this world or the next. Just show me how to get where she is, and I’ll be there for her. ~Stark

I’m here because she’s here, and she belongs to me. ~Rephaim

Daughter, that’s life: messy, confusing, heartbreaking, but wonderful

cats choose us; we don’t own them

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

To the people who look at the stars and wish, Rhys.” Rhys clinked his glass against mine. “To the stars who listen— and the dreams that are answered.

There are good days and hard days for me—even now. Don’t Let The Hard Days Win.

I was burning through books every day – stories about people and places I’d never heard of. They were perhaps the only thing that kept me from teetering into utter despair.

This is how I felt reading through this book! I absolutely love all of these quotes. And I totally get how Feyre feels, reading really is an amazing escape.

Walker saga by Jaymin Eve

Being broken doesn’t mean there’s no hope for you. You just have to find the new person you are, learn how to exist with a few less pieces.

Baby, it’s not time’s job to rid you of your insecurities. It’s mine. If a man loves his woman right, protects her, provides for her and cherishes every single facet of her complex personality, then there will be no need for insecurities.

Anime Review: Another by Yukito Ayatsuji Illustrated by Hiro Kiyohara

Hey guys! How is everyone doing today? I’ve said in previous posts I would start posting some new and different content, and I wanted to surprise everyone by starting today! So this is going to be a review based on the anime called:

And when a fellow student dies a disturbing death – the first of a long chain of deaths – Koichi seeks to learn the truth behind the curse of Class 3-3. But can he get answers before the curse kills him?

So basically the way I review an anime is I base it off of animation, voice acting, music, plot, and adaptation. When I say adaptation I mean I also review it based on how close it is to the manga series that came before it. Obviously there is plenty of anime out there that doesnt have a manga or the manga didn’t come out until after the anime. In those cases I will base it off of other criteria. I will base all of ny reviews at a 10 star rating 1 being the lkwest 10 the highest

My Review: 8/10🌟

So its true that I really did enjoy this anime alot. I thought the plot was good and the animation was very well done. The characters themselves looked creepy and symbolized the plot of the story very well in my opinion. It’s very different from the manga versions of the characters but I actually like it better.

Manga

Vs.

Anime

I feel if the characters look soft and beautiful like they are drawn in the manga the audience would have automatically assumed it was another slice of life school anime. I also think the blood and gore and death scenes were frightening and very well done!

There were quite a few characters that weren’t mentioned in the anime that were mentioned in the manga that we never get to see. Some of the characters are mentioned; at the most, and while I think some of the characters weren’t really needed and felt extra I do think a few of the characters should’ve been added. There are also a few characters that are made specifically for the anime and aren’t a part of the manga at all.

Sakuma

Tachibana

Ryoko Akiyama

Mitsuyo Fujioka

Kazuma Akazawa

Mieko Sakuragi

Yousuke Sakakibara

These are all characters that are seen exclusively in the manga. While some of these characters are talked about in the anime, we never actually see them. The next two characters are in the anime but are not in the manga at all. I think these characters were added into the anime because it needed it. Especially where the endings are so different.

Aya Ayano and Makoto Ouji are anime characters only while Makoto isnt majorly important I think it was definetly smart to add Aya Ayano. She was the perfect character to really introduce how fast and easy the curse will come for them, to the main hero and the audience.

The plot overall was good, I didn’t see the ending coming but comparing it to what happened at the end of the manga, I definetly think some things should’ve been added. I would’ve like to see more of the paranoia and distrust between characters before the ending half of the anime. I also think that some of the deaths in the anime shouldn’t have happened and also feel that certain characterizations that were switched should’ve been left alone. All in all the anime was really good. I think if the ending stuck a little bit closer to the manga I would’ve given it the whole 10 stars.

Thats it for this blog guys I hope you enjoyed it. I hope to start posting some weekly anime reviews. If you want to check out some more of my content head to my website, I post Monday-Friday so swing by anytime. Thats all for now see you on Monday and have a happy weekend!

Hey guys how is everyone doing today? Its a terrific Tuesday for me as I lay in bed writing this blog for you. Because its Tuesday you know that its time for another Top Ten Tuesday! This book tag was created by The Broke and The Bookish but is now being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out those two blogs because they’re fantastic and I love their content. So this weeks Top 10 Tuesday is about books I could re-read forever. I’m a huge fan of paranormal romance and young adult so there will be alot of those books on here. Anyways these are books I could literally re-read forever:

Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

Inuyasha by Rumiko Takahashi

Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine

Pandora Hearts by Jun Mochizuki

Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead

Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas

Six of Crows Duology set by Leigh Bardugo

House of Night series by P.C. and Kristin Cast

Soulmate by Anna Santos

So thats it for this list. These are all books I totally love for multiple reasons, and I could read them over so many times and never get sick of them. I just love the characters of these books as well as all the action and romance in them. I definetly recommend reading these books if you haven’t read them yet. I really dont think you’ll be disappointed!

Throwback Thursday Ceres The Celestial Legend by Yú Watase

Hey guys how is everyone doing today? It’s another awesome Thursday which means it’s time for another Throwback Thursday. This book tag was brought to you by Renee at its book talk. If you haven’t checked out her blog definetly head over and check out her blog. So this week my Throwback goes to

Ceres The Celestial Legend

Summary: Aya and her twin brother Aki thought they were going to a celebration of their sixteenth birthday at their grandfather’s home, but the funeral-like atmosphere tips them off that something’s not right. Their “birthday present” turns out to be a mummified hand–the power of which forces an awakening within Aya, and painful wounds all over Aki’s body! Grandfather Mikage announces that Aki will be heir to the Mikage fortune, and Aya must die! But Aya has allies in the athletic cook and martial artist Yûhi, and the attractive, mysterious Tôya. But can even two handsome and resourceful guys save Aya when it’s her own power that’s out of control?

This was a manga series I read right before I started to read Inuyasha. I was probably a freshman in highschool when I read this series. Its a manga series I may read again because honestly I don’t remember much about it. I loved the romance in the book but I was mad because of who the heroine ended up with in the end. From what I remember about the series I push you to check it out. Its a great romance filled with magic and ancient prophecies.

So thats it for this weeks throwback everyone if you enjoy my content come back for my future posts and don’t be afraid to check out my website. Thats all for now Bookishgirl out!

Top Ten Tuesday: Love Freebie

Hey guys what is up? Today is another Tuesday and here in Massachusetts the snow has melted for the most part and things are looking a bit warmer this week. I’m going to see a movie with my best friend and her neice so I’m finally getting the chance to go out and have some fun.

Anyways onto why you are here, its time for another awesome Top Ten Tuesday! This weeks theme is love freebies! So some of the couples I am listing aren’t technically together but they totally should be and they seriously just make me swoon like crazy! This concept was originally created by the Broke and the Bookish but is now being held at That Artsy Reader girls blog. If you havent checked out these blogs yet definetly do so immediately they have some really awesome content. So here is my top ten lovers

Rose and Dimitri Vampire Academy/Bloodlines

Broderick and Davina Bonded by Blood Vampire Chronicles

Abby and Brace The Walker saga

Feyre and Ryhsand A Court of Mist and Fury

Aelin and Rowan Throne of Glass

Roy Mustand and Riza Hawkeye Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

Vegeta and Bulma Dragon Ball Z/Super

Inuyasha and Kagome Inuyasha

Shirou Emiya and Rin Tohsaka Fate Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works

Elias and Laia An Ember in the Ashes

Adrian and Sydney Bloodlines

So these are some of my favorite swoon worthy couples. Even if a few of them aren’t technically canon I can’t help but love them. These couples are so strong and so complicated that they feel so real and these couples have also had some serious drama amd rough times and I applaud them for how they’ve dealt with the turmoil. I love all these couples so much, it kind of surprised me that some of these couples were never offically put together.

What are some of your favorite swoon worthy couples?

Did they actually end up together officially or were you left on a lurch?

As always thank you everyone and anyone who reads my content. I hope you all enjoy my writing and if you do don’t hesitate to check out my blog I post Monday through Friday so come back everyday and read something new. Its been geat y’all hope everyone has an awesome day bookishgirl out!

Kingdom Hearts 3 D23 Trailers and Analysis!

Hey guys what’s up hope everyone is having an awesome day. So I know I don’t usually post on Saturdays but after watching some awesome new Kingdom Hearts stuff I just had to! As many fans know Kingdom Hearts 3 has long been coming so any news we can get we happily take. I not only love the Kingdom Hearts games but I also enjoy reading the manga. So yesterday at the D23 event in Japan their were two new trailers released for Kingdom Hearts 3! I’m posting the links to the trailers for you to watch before I get really into the details of the trailers so SPOILERS BEWARE!

Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer 1

Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer 2

So let me start off by saying HOLY AMAZEBALLS! The trailers were completely amazing and I’m so happy we finally got some new content! The graphics look so amazing nothing like the original games. And on top of it Utada Hikaru is releasing a new song for this game called Don’t Think Twice. I think the storyline has really come such a long way and I can’t wait to start playing this game.

So one of the things I was happy to see in this trailer was the Tangled storyline was looked into a little more.

So in this screenshot I took we see how amazing and smooth the gameplay is. The grass looks so real you can touch it and the magic thunder Donald or Sora is using is amazing! The heartless also seem a lot darker and more sinister and I love how they seem to hide in plain sight as flowers. It makes players be way more vigilant and it also looks like the characters of the Disney movie still help you to fight off the heartless which I’m glad hasn’t changed.

I was also super stoked that in the trailer we got to look at a new world:

Monsters Inc.

So many fans like myself have been speculating a Monsters Inc. World and apparently our speculations have been correct because tadaa we have an awesome Monsters Inc. World. It’s super on point the graphics are amazing, and it seems that we have gotten a look into some more of Sora’s moves and Keyblade customizations.

Characters return: Marluxia and Vanitas

The next thing that was super awesome to see was the return of certain characters! I had speculated that Marluxia would return based on previous trailers that showed Nobodys similar to Marluxia.

I am totally stoked Marluxia has returned he was always a really difficult Nobody to battle against. He’s also one of my favorite Organization 13 members next to Axel and Demyx. I was hoping Vanitas would come back to give Ventus an issue but I didn’t actually think they would have him come back. It’ll be awesome to see Sora’s reaction if he is ever able to see Vanitas’ face.

Summons

The next thing I was really happy about was that it looks as though we are still able to summon different Disney characters. But instead of the typical summons such as Simba, Mushu, Chicken Little or Genie, we have a brand new summons!

It looks like Ariel may finally come in handy for a change! I personally never cared for the Atlantica world in Kingdom Hearts 2 it was always boring and Ariel didn’t do anything. But with this new trailer it seems she may finally be useful!

Sora’s Forms

Another question I had before this trailer was were players going to be able to transform Sora into his other forms. His Valor Form was my favorite form next to Final Form because Sora was very fast and his attacks really packed a punch and demolished his enemy’s HP. Well my question was answered after watching this trailer.

In this screenshot I took while watching the trailer I noticed that Sora is in what appears to be his Wisdom Form and it’s had minor changes. In the other games he used his Keyblade as a sort of laser gun but now his Keyblade seems to be used as a sort of staff while gliding around.

So that is it for this surprise blog guys. If you noticed any other things I may not have mentioned feel free to comment below. I’m a huge Kingdom Hearts fan so I was like morally obligated to blog about this! I hope everyone has an awesome weekend and if you enjoyed my content check out my site for more. Until Monday guys bookishgirl out!

Throwback Thursday: Immortal Rain by Kaori Ozaki

Hey guys how is everyone today? It’s a cold day in Mass we just got some snow that was washed away by the rain. Strange weather as usual over here in New England. Anyways as you guys know today is Thursday and in honor of Thursday its time for one of my throwback Thursdays. This book tag is brought to you by Renee at it’s book talk. E sure to check out this blog the posts are Awesome! Now this is a book series that came out in the later 90’s early 2000’s and is one of my all time manga series.

Immortal Rain by Kaori Ozaki

Oh my god I loved this manga series in middle school. For a while I couldn’t find any English translations past volume 6 and figured I couldn’t read anymore of the story. But then more of the story was written in 2011, I haven’t looked for any other volumes in English bt seriously hope they are written. If they haven’t been written I hope someone will eventually translate the Japanese chapters online. This manga is one of my favorite romances it fills me with great nostalgia that more volumes have been written and I can once again dive into Rain’s wonderful journey and see if he will find something or someone that will make his life meaningful to him once more.

That ends this blog post if you enjoy my content which I really hope you do, check out somemore of my content. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and comment on anything on my site I try to answer any comments so again don’t be afraid to say anything!

Throwback Thursday: Inuyasha by Rumiko Takahashi

Hey guys hope everyone is having a fantastic day. It’s still freezing in Massachusetts so I haven’t really been able to go out much this week so I’ve been doing a lot of reading and thinking about some blogs so definetly tune in next week. Anyways today is Thursday so you know it’s time for my annual Throwback Thursday! This idea came from the awesome Renee at it’s book talk,be sure to check out her blog she’s got some really amazing content. Now on to the Throwback this week I’m doing a manga series very near and dear to my heart and it’s called

Inuyasha

Oh so many found memories of Inuyasha! This is probably one of my favorite manga series. It’s got everything a great Shounen manga needs action, weapons, romance, demons and priestesses, and the unbreakable bond of the main characters Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, Sango, Shippo, and Kaede. I originally started watching the anime back when I was in 7th grade when it aired on Toonami but found out I could read the manga for it in the library so every spare moment I got I was reading this awesome manga.

The romance in this series is so strong that even sitting here writing this blog thinking about it makes me swoon and gush for the couples. One thing I love more than anything is really complicated romantic situations. I also love the occasional humor romance moment as well!

I love the romances between characters but it’s the real funny moments that warm my heart I seriously just can’t get enough of them!

So if you have not read the Inuyasha manga series or watched the anime I highly suggest you go do so now. It could very well become one of your favorite series.

Well that’s it for this blog post if you like my content and want to check out some of my other stuff head to my page. As always have a safe and happy day guys hope everyone stays warm!

Woman Crush Wednesday: Sango Inuyasha by Rumiko Takahashi

Hey guys happy Wednesday hope everyone has been having a great week so far. So because today is Wednesday you know that it’s time for my annual Women Crush Wednesday! So let’s get started today I decided that I wanted to go with a girl who’s fierce. She has a strong soul despite going through everything she has gone through and that’s why I dedicate this Women Crush Wednesday to:

Sango

Ah poor Sango! She struggles with so much and all she wants is her family back, curse you Naraku! Sango is a very strong character but is never cold or unrelateable she never loses emotion or morality even with all tthat she has to endure. That is why I chose Sango if you haven’t read this manga or watched the anime you definetly need to.

Well that wraps up this week’s Woman Crush Wednesday if you enjoy my content feel free to check out my site. Hope everyone has a happy Wednesday be safe and make good choices!

Man crush Monday: Inuyasha by Rumiko Takahashi

Hey guys it’s Monday so as you know I post my book reviews today but I also post, you guessed it my Man Crush Mondays!

This week my man Crush is

Inuyasha

Okay so I absolutely love the Inuyasha manga and had to chose him as my man Crush this week. So Inuyasha is an amazing character hes brave, compassionate, hot tempered, and caring. But he’s also a powerful half demon who will kill you without a second thought especially if you’re trying to attack his friends. Inuyasha in his hot temperament is also very funny especially if he gets into a fight with Kagome. He can be an asshole sometimes but overall he means well and of course he’s got the whole tortured soul thing going on because of his issues with unresolved relationships. So overall I had to chose Inuyasha for my man Crush if you haven’t read the Inuyasha manga or watched the anime I strongly suggest that you do. The anime follows the manga to a T so definetly check out Inuyasha if you haven’t already.

Throwback Thursday: Deadman Wonderland by Jinsei Kataoka

Hey guys it’s a cold day here in Massachusetts we just got some snow yesterday so still cleaning up and recovering from the white stuff. But today is Thursday and you know what that means it’s time for another Throwback Thursday! This book meme was brought to you by Renee at it’s book talk her website is really cool so definetly check out her blog! So this week’s Throwback is dedicated to

Deadman Wonderland

So I read this manga when it first came out and also watched the anime for this. The anime didn’t do this manga justice as a lot of the characters that were in the manga that were important got cut from the anime leaving quite a few considerable plot holes. Never the less I still hope this anime gets a season 2 or at the very least a series reboot like Full metal Alchemist got. The manga is amazing because all the characters have some sort of deep dark last that brought them to the prison. Even Ganta has a back story despite being thrown in Deadman Wonderland l. The manga finished back in 2014 so it’s not wicked old but I started reading the manga and such back in 2011 I believe so that’s why it makes the list. If you haven’t read this manga series or at the very least watched the anime I strongly advise you to do so.

So that is it for this throwback I hope you enjoyed this blog and as always if you like my content check out my page. Happy Thursday stay safe and have a good day!

Women Crush Wednesday: Fairy Tail Cana Alberona

Hey guys it’s Wednesday so you know what time it is, it’s women crush Wednesday. So today my woman crush Wednesday is none other than the amazing

Cana Alberona

I am a huge fan of the Fairy Tail manga as well as the anime and one of the best female characters is Cana. I feel like as a character Cana just doesn’t get enough credit, there are a lot of very strong and humorous female characters but I’d have to say I admire Cana almost the most. She is selfless, kind, compassionate, and a really funny drunk. I mean she shouldered a lot between losing the only family member she had to finding another family member but never being able to tell that family member who she is because it would disrupt their lives. She’s a very noble and selfless character and I just love her! If you havent seen or read this arc of Fairy Tail yet I would definetly read it, because the manga is amazing or if you have access to the anine definetly watch it. As always for more of my content head to my site to check out my other Blog posts and if you really like my stuff hit that follow button and every time I post you’ll know. Happy Wednesday everybody!

Man Crush Monday: Allen Walker D Gray-man

Allen Walker

Hey guys it’s Monday and as you already know I post my book reviews on Mondays as well as the wonderful Man Crush Monday! So this week my man Crush is Allen Walker from D Gray-man. Allen is an amazing character he’s selfless, an awesome friend, and is compassionate and cares deeply for the excorcists he works with. His character goes through a lot unfortunately and that’s where he gets his patience and determination. I love Allen because he’s smart, thoughtful, determined, and a lot of other things. I also have to say I love a character that’s gone through some crazy crap and still comes out of it without a chip on his shoulder. So for this man crush Monday I chose Allen Walker from the popular manga series D Gray-man by Katsura Hoshino. For more of my blogs check out my website. Happy Monday!

Top Ten Tuesday: Top 10 characters that lead a group of friends

Hey guys so I saw alot of interesting Top Ten Tuesday’s and really liked them so I decided to try one for myself. This concept originates from The Broke and The Bookish and is hosted every Tuesday, and my TTT will be the one from last week Top 10 characters that lead a group of friends. I will also post this week’s concept which is 10 books you want your children to read in the future.

1.) Zoey Redbird House of Night by P.C and Kristin Cast

Zoey Redbird is an amazing character who is one of the most powerful fledglings in The House of Night. She has alot of responsibility and has a huge heart. She’s a great leader and very patient with her friends who are also her circle and help protect each other and the House of Night. She’s very kind and patient and even with everything she can lose her friends and family are the most important thing to her.

2.) Jess Brightwell from Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine

Jess is a very interesting character who automatically protects his twin brother Brendan and his family even though he’s not close to them at all. He starts off not really caring about the other postulants because he needs to get a spot as a scholar but after the first test it all changes, and would give his life to save his friends. Jess can be patient and is very intelligent saving the other postulants lives more than once.

3.) Allen Walker from D-Grayman by Katsura Hoshino

Allen is a very complicated character. His adventure started when he lost Mana his father figure and brought him back from the dead. He made a grave mistake in trusting the earl and bringing back Mana, after this day he becomes an exorcist keeping innocence away from the earl. Allen is very close to his group of exorcist friends and does everything in his power to save them from danger and even themselves. He’s a really good character who learned from his mistakes and sympathizes with people and is very understanding and patient.

4.) Riku from Kingdom Hearts manga by Shiro Amano

Riku has tasted darkness and has betrayed his friends in the past, but he finds himself again and is a major force to be reckoned with. He won’t forgive himself for what he did to his friends, but leads them and stops at nothing to save and protect them. Thanks to his dark past his bond with those closest to him couldn’t be stronger and makes him a natural leader.

5.) Henrietta Howell A Shadow Bright and Burning by Jessica Clueless

Henrietta is patient, kind, caring, and fierce especially when it comes to her childhood friend Rook. She had the opportunity to leave a world she couldn’t stand but she refused to go unless she was able to take Rook with her. She’s daring and very powerful and the only thing more nerve racking then her amazing magical powers is her loyalty to her curse friend Rook making her an amazing leader of the orphaned duo.

6.) Kaz Brekker Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Kaz Brekker isn’t your typical leader, he saved his entire crew of friends from enslavement and even prostitution but for a price they must work for him and do dangerous missions working Ketterdams underground. Kaz or “dirty hands” is very patient with his group and trusts them to get the job done but he isn’t afraid to cut them lose and possibly even kill them should they betray him. He is loyal to them and they become more than just his pawns but real friends, and because of his immense intelligence is a natural leader.

7.) Manon Blackbeak Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas

Manon can come across very cold and uncaring but this is just a shell to keep her subordinates in line. She is extremely loyal and when push comes to shove will fight for those who have always been loyal to her. She’s scary and a hard ass towards her wyvern and her band of 13 but she deeply loves them all even if she won’t admit it.

8.) Elias Veturius An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

Elias is a complicated character stuck in a life he never wanted. But when it comes to his bitalian and friends he would rather die than risk their lives. He’s very kind and patient which is why he needs to get out of being a mask, there’s no room for remorse and mercy if your a mask. Even when in trials that could easily cost him his life he saves Helenes life at the cost of everything.

9.) Rose Hathaway Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

Rose leads the duo between her and Vascilisa Dragomir, she’s strong, protective, intelligent, patient, and kind everything she’s been trained to do. But when she feels that the Academy is no longer safe she uproots her life to hide and protect Lissa. She even allows Lissa to feed off of her showing how much she truly leads and cares for Lissa.

10.) Claire Danvers Morganville vampires by Rachel Caine

Claire is very intelligent and is thrown into a world full of vampires, danger, romance, and death when sent to Morganville Texas to attend college. At first she knows nothing about Morganville but when she does learn the truth she stps at nothing to protect her friends Shane, Michael, and Eve from death and their own self destruction.
