(Fairy Trafficking #2)

Oh my god! I haven’t read many fairy or fae books but if your going to get into the sub genre this series is the perfect one too start off with! Dazzling and broken three dimensional characters will steal your heart as the reader will be left begging to know what their fates are as the clock ticks and time starts to run out. The romance is steamy as the forbidden and dangerous love between complicated characters ignites. And if you’re not one for romance don’t worry this book is full of action that tears your heart too pieces!
Layla is a battle ready intuitive half cast that has been outlasted from her community for her heritage. She’s a strong lead who feels badly about being an outsider but is strong willed and courageously takes on her greatest fears.
Ian and his band of investigators bring strength, cunning, intelligence, and humor as they discover more about the magical world that has been living right under their noses.
The world building is also amazing as the author seamlessly creates a parallel world that dangerously intertwines with our own.
So if magic, danger, romance, and three dimensional characters are what you love start reading this series today cause I know I can’t wait for the 3rd installment!
You can find her Texas roots in her YA contemporary romance Hickville series , which has been described as “100% solid storytelling,” and begins with Welcome to Hickville High, a “lovely story about growing up.”
She digs deep into her Scottish roots – there is magic there, she just knows it – for the forthcoming YA epic fantasy Fairy Trafficking series, beginning with Magic Harvest.
She makes her home in the beautiful Sangre de Cristo mountains of Northern New Mexico where she is a certified professional ski instructor, but she also loves visiting Scotland where she is currently studying Scottish Gaelic at the University of Highlands and Islands in Skye. Mary also earned her MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University, has a B.S. degree from Texas A&M University, and is a Registered Nurse.
Mary currently serves as the President of the Young Adult Chapter of Romance Writers of America and looks forward to raising a glass or two of gin and tonic with her fellow writers every year at RWA’s national convention.
