My Review: I rate this book ⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5 ⭐’s! This book is filled with complicated characters, amazing and magical fight scenes, a steamy romance that makes you want to rip the hair out of your head, and an imaginative world that mirrors right beside our own!
Kasia one of the main characters is a sassy, resourceful and fiery girl living on her own constantly hunted because of what she is. She’s intelligent, independent, kind and very compassionate.
Brand is a sexy dragon mercenary with only one thing on his mind and that’s revenge. Devastated and haunted by his past he’s tasked with capturing a Phoenix but when his love and passion get in the way he has to decide what is more important love or revenge?
What is special about this book is that it is an Urban Fantasy and that it seamlessly mirrors the world we live in today. The book has a cool u underground vibe that made me turn the pages faster to find out what would happen next. Not to mention all the crazy dragon fights and different magical creatures joining the battle.
The only thing that made me take a star off this book was the will they won’t they. Both characters have so much riding on their backs I can understand why they were so reluctant on getting together but it started to drive me crazy. I wanted the two characters together sooo bad!
But if mythical creatures, dangerous fights, forbidden romance and steamy sex scenes are for you definitely read this book!
