Hey everyone how are you all doing this fine Friday afternoon? So one of my favorite shows as a kid with anime influence was Avatar: The Last Airbender and I just found out that a live action show is hitting Netflix!

Beginning production in 2019, Avatar: The Last Airbender will be helmed by original series creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino.

“We’re thrilled for the opportunity to helm this live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. We can’t wait to realize Aang’s world as cinematically as we always imagined it to be, and with a culturally appropriate, non-whitewashed cast. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to build upon everyone’s great work on the original animated series and go even deeper into the characters, story, action, and world-building. Netflix is wholly dedicated to manifesting our vision for this retelling, and we’re incredibly grateful to be partnering with them,” explained Konietzko and DiMartino.

Here is a concept image from artist John Staub of Aang and Appa below:

Netflix will partner with Nickelodeon to bring this magical world back to television. Melissa Cobb, vice-president of Kids & Family Content at Netflix said, “We are committed to honoring Bryan and Mike’s vision for this retelling and are thrilled to support them on creating a live-action event series, bringing Aang’s epic world of elemental magic to life for global audiences on Netflix.”

There is still no word on how many episodes we can expect to see, or who will be cast in the leading roles. Avatar: The Last Airbender ended its run 10 years ago and we think it has one of the best finales of all time. What do you think of Aang getting the live-action treatment on Netflix? Let us know in the comments, and check out our thoughts on the remake below.

The original composer of the series will be returning!

So what do you guys think? I’m excited and think this is a great idea as long as M Night stays far away from it and each character has the correct culture that is found in the show.

New Kingdom Hearts 3 Cover image and Limited Edition PS4

Hey everyone so I’m totally stoked that we were able to get a new trailer drop but I just got some more amazing Kingdom Hearts 3 news! Apparently they just released what the Kingdom Hearts 3 cover will look like and here it is!

Looks like we got alot of the same faces in this cover reveal. Sora looks snazzy and alot more mature, and I wonder how Namine will tie into this part of the series. And of course the million dollar question is will we see Roxas again?

And according to this comic book article

https://www.google.com/amp/s/comicbook.com/gaming/amp/2018/09/20/kingdom-hearts-3-limited-edition-ps4-slim-buy/

The stunning Kingdom Hearts 3 PlayStation 4 Slim has just been revealed during the Tokyo Game Show going on now, but this stunning new platform will only be available in Japan – at least for now.

First revealed just yesterday, the powerful PlayStation 4 Slim will be available on January 25th of next year for Japanese players and will offer two models: 500 GB and 1 TB. Though as of right now it is region-exclusive, we’re hoping with the steady hype building for the game that the availability will eventually open up to the west.

With the game coming out on January 29th, will we be able to get our hands on this world-wide, or will it be another system that we’ll have to lust after from afar? However, there is a bright side! The awesome collector’s edition of the game that comes with three of our favourite characters in collectibles form is available for all and will be releasing when the game drops in January.

According to the collector’s edition’s description, which retails for $229.99:

Kingdom Hearts III tells the story of the power of friendship and light vs. darkness as Sora and his friends embark on a perilous adventure. Set in a vast array of Disney and Pixar worlds, Kingdom Hearts follows the journey of Sora, an unknowing heir to a spectacular power. Sora is joined by Donald Duck and Goofy to stop an evil force known as the Heartless from invading and overtaking the universe. Sora, Donald, and Goofy unite with iconic Disney-Pixar characters old and new to overcome tremendous challenges and persevere against the darkness threatening their worlds.”

So what do you think will you be buying this if it comes out to where you live?

I’m bursting from the seams from all this great new infor January of 2019 can not come fast enough for me!
