Hey guys how are you all doing today it’s another spectacular Friday and to make it even better I just got some news about the remaster for Spyro!
So according to Gamespot, IGN, Forbes, Hollywood reporter, Polygon, and Otaku, The Spyro Remaster is no longer just a rumor!
These are tweets from the official Activion and Toys for Bob Twitter account on the rumors.
So it looks like everything is true and Spyro is coming to PS4 and Xbox One consoles. There is no news on whether it will be released on other consoles at a later date, all we can do is cross our fingers and hope that this new game will be everything us Spyro fans have been hoping for! Based on Activision’s claims I don’t think we’ll be disappointed.
Among the improvements that Spyro Reignited Trilogy boasts are improved graphics, and along with a trailer, we’ve gotten some comparison screenshots that serve to highlight just how much better this new version looks.
Activision’s announcement states the Trilogy features “scaled-up HD graphics” where the more than 100 levels have been “mapped faithfully from the originals, only now re-imagined with modern mechanics to give fans an excellent gaming experience.” In terms of visuals, this is described as a “completely remastered” collection with “re-imagined cast of characters, brand-new lighting, animations, environments, and recreated cinematics.”
It consists of that original game, Spyro the Dragon, along with its two follow-ups: Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage(Gateway to Glimmer in Europe and Australia) and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
We’ve also gotten a really cool but short trailer for the new game!

I saw this today and I had a big smile. This and Crash was my favorite games as a kid. I will soon have this one with my Crash trilogy!

Ikr same here! My mom is new to gaming and she loved playing these when I was a kid and even now so I can’t wait to see what kind of progress she has made with these games.

That’s awesome. Recently, they were able to see the anime movie Yu-Gi-Oh the movie with me in theaters in March and they don’t usually watch anime. It’s funny that my dad played a lot of Crash and my mom preferred Spyro.

Playing this game is going to give me nostalgia. What’s even better is that, this game will be for X1 and it will allow more people to get this game.

Lol ikr I’m not working at the moment because I’m in college. Budgeting my Fasfa has been really difficult, but my parents are really cool about helping me out. I am trying to get a job though because tuition for my school went up and it would just be better for me to start working and save some money lol.

Yeah lol thats what my parents say I’m trying to get my bachelor’s in Creative Writing and minor in Buisness I want to open up my own bookstore cafe and write different books on the side as well.

Oh my god thats so awesome! I love blogging for fun. Once I hit highschool like my senior year I fell in love with Creative Writing. Alot of people always ask me if I’m going into teaching because thats the only sure fire job that will pay. My mom is if course really supportive she loves reading anything I write and my dad is happy as long as I’m happy. Getting paid to write is seriously my dream though just getting one book published would be amazing! Having my own bookstore cafe as well as writing my own books and getting them published traditionally is my two life goals. 😀

Really? I didn’t find my calling until college. I remember a lot of people was saying that people who write will probably be in teaching, but I didn’t want to teach. Your parents are awesome for encouraging you start your own book.

Yeah my dad is into cooking and my mom is into healthcare and taking care of elderly people. I graduated high school in 2014 and at first I wanted to do something with music but after thinking about it and having to take a few years off for college I knew writing was what I wanted to do for sure. My high school teachers loved reading my creative stuff and even when I had to write my Senior thesis and was in the bridge program at college I got really good grades for my writing. I’m starting college again this summer to get my degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. One of the professors at Salem State for the writing department was dating my history teacher we had to write poems about the Holocaust as our final and he was super impressed with my writing. I was really happy of course but yeah I won’t be out of college until im about 25 but I honestly dont care your necer to old to learn. I’m also debating on if I want to get my masters in English. 😀

That’s pretty cool. I graduated way back in 2012 from high school. I guess everyone loved your writing and that’s your skills. Don’t worry about how long will it take for you to finish school. Learn as much as possible and reach high places.

Lol yeah xD I can’t wait I didn’t go to my high school graduation but im not missing my college graduation. I’m starting college this sjmmer 2 years at community college, then 2 years at Salem State.
